From Emmy®-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, DEXTER: RESURRECTION stars SAG and Golden Globe® winner Michael C. Hall (DEXTER, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.
DEXTER: RESURRECTION, a continuation of DEXTER: NEW BLOOD, takes place weeks after Dexter Morgan (Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City determined to find him and make things right. But, closure won’t come easy. When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their own darkness in the city that never sleeps, they soon find themselves deeper than they ever imagined and that the only way out is together.

Apple Arcade makes a splash this summer with exciting SpongeBob SquarePants crossover events and updates
SpongeBob SquarePants makes a special appearance in crossover events in hit games on Apple Arcade.
This month, players can dive into special crossover events featuring SpongeBob SquarePants in Snake.io+ and Crossy Road Castle, available exclusively on Apple Arcade. Characters and locations from the iconic series arrive in limited-time events in the two popular games on the service. Fans of the absorbent and yellow and porous pal can also check out a brand-new endless mode in SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit, where they’ll test their skills in increasingly difficult levels to top the leaderboard.
Apple Arcade brings together more than 200 games and offers exclusive events created in collaboration with some of the industry’s top developers. Crossy Road Castle by Hipster Whale
Crossy Road Castle, the popular co-op platforming party game, is launching a fun update that will have players racing through 40 Bikini Bottom-themed levels as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, or Sandy — collecting Krabby Patties and avoiding jellyfish. The Krabby Patty Kollectathon event kicks off July 21, followed by the Jellyfish Jam that runs August 4 through August 17.

SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit by Nickelodeon
Launching today, players can dive into a brand-new endless mode in SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit, a side-scrolling action game where SpongeBob jumps, bounces, slides, and fly-kicks through colorful and dynamic levels. The update will have players test their skills in increasingly difficult levels with no checkpoints and no extra lives to see who can top the leaderboard.
Last month, internet sensation Tiny Chef, in an now viral video, revealed that his Nickelodeon series, The Tiny Chef Show, had been cancelled. In the video, we see Chef receive the devastating news, before going to his bed and breaking down and crying, triggering an emotional outpouring from fans worldwide. Subsequent videos have shown Tiny Chef too upset to get out of bed, and eating junk food - a far cry from the healthy food he's known for making.
Whilst Cheffy is still 'unemployed', however, there's some good news on the horizon: Tiny Chef is heading to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2025, where the team behind The Tiny Chef Show will host an autograph session as well as a panel on the making of the show!

Whilst not an official Tiny Chef SDCC event, a fan has taken it upon themselves to spread the cheer with a hand-crocheted version of the sweetest friend ever.
"Since 2011, I’ve been crocheting little characters for strangers to find at SDCC! Find Tiny Chef and he's yours to keep!" they wrote on Reddit.
Fans will get the chance to search for the little guy around the San Diego Convention Center, by following clues posted to social media. They wrote, "I’ll be updating my crochet blog with a final roundup of all the critters and this year's rules and guidelines soon."
Even fans who aren't able to make it into the convention have ways to get involved, including this fan-made scavenger hunt. The fan wrote, "You do NOT need a badge to find one of my little guys! I drop them outside the convention center so that everyone will have a chance to find one!"

There are a few rules to this fan's game, though. They asked that you "send me a photo of them as proof of their adoption" and let them know where the new little friend will be heading. "Each critter is tagged with my contact info and instructions on what to do if you find one," they explained.
They concluded, "I drop these little guys off knowing that there's a potential that people could just swipe them and never get back to me on it, but it doesn't make it any less disheartening when one goes missing. Join the hunt, and help me get my little guys happy homes!"
Fans online thought the idea was adorable. "Oh my goodness, my heart!!" one commented.
Host Stephen Colbert announced the news during the taping of Thursday’s show.
In a surprise announcement on Thursday, July 17, CBS and Late Show host Stephen Colbert said the show will come to an end in May 2026.

Colbert told the show’s live audience during the taping of Thursday’s show at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York. In a statement, CBS said the cancellation was “purely a financial decision” made in a declining linear TV landscape.
The end of The Late Show at the end of the 2025-26 season will leave CBS without a late-night presence for the first time since 1993, when David Letterman moved from NBC to launch The Late Show. Colbert took over the show in 2015 and has been a consistent ratings leader among the network 11:35 p.m. shows for much of that time.
The announcement also comes as CBS’ parent company, Paramount Global, is hoping to close a merger with Skydance in the next few months. The company recently settled a lawsuit filed last year by Donald Trump (before he was elected to a second term as president) over a 60 Minutes interview with Trump’s election opponent, Kamala Harris. The settlement is widely seen as helping the merger’s chances for approval by the FCC under the Trump administration — and which Colbert, an outspoken Trump critic, criticized upon his return from a hiatus earlier this week. In its statement, CBS said that wasn’t a factor in the decision.
“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of the broadcast season,” reads a statement from Paramount co-CEO and CBS president and CEO George Cheeks, CBS Entertainment head Amy Reisenbach and CBS Studios president David Stapf. “We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire The Late Show franchise at that time. We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television.
“This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.
“Our admiration, affection, and respect for the talents of Stephen Colbert and his incredible team made this agonizing decision even more difficult. Stephen has taken CBS late night by storm with cutting-edge comedy, a must-watch monologue and interviews with leaders in entertainment, politics, news and newsmakers across all areas. The show has been No. 1 in late night for nine straight seasons; Stephen’s comedy resonates daily across digital and social media; and the broadcast is a staple of the nation’s zeitgeist.
“The accomplishments of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert are memorable and significant in performance, quality and stature. With much gratitude, we look forward to honoring Stephen and celebrating the show over the next 10 months alongside its millions of fans and viewers.”
For his part, Colbert told the audience Thursday that he was informed of the decision to end The Late Show on Wednesday night, drawing boos from the crowd. “Yeah, I share your feelings,” he said. “… This is all just going away. I do want to say that the folks at CBS have been great partners. I’m so grateful to the Tiffany Network for giving me this chair and this beautiful theater to call home. And of course, I’m grateful to you, the audience who have joined us. … And I am extraordinarily, deeply grateful to the 200 people who work here.” Watch Colbert’s full announcement below.
As for the rest of the network late-night landscape, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! will begin the final season of its current three-year deal in the fall. NBC late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers signed deals last year to continue hosting The Tonight Show and Late Night through 2028.
