Following the breakout success of the first season, filming has begun in Mallorca on the second series of SkyShowtime’s popular Swedish dramedy Where the Sun Always Shines (Där Solen Alltid Skiner), with leading actors Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones, The Iris Affair), Johan Glans (Hjälp!) and Celie Sparre (The Truth Will Out) joining the cast.

The SkyShowtime Original series, created and directed by Felix Herngren (Sunny Side, Bonus Family) sees the return of Per Lasson, Lisa Linnertorp, Erik ‘Jerka’ Johansson and Rakel Wärmländer. The new season picks up where the first left off, following the two brothers and their families as they attempt to build a new life in the Spanish sun, while continuing to grapple with unresolved conflicts and complex family dynamics.

Hivju will be playing the role of Anker, an eccentric Norwegian intellectual and artist. Anker lives in a large, architect-designed home outside Palma, where he rejects the idea of modernity in favour of exploring his growing obsession with Roman ideals and a quest to find his ‘true’ humanity.

Speaking about his role in the series, Hivju said:  “I loved season one, and it’s a real joy to join this incredible cast as Anker, a character I hope will bring plenty of energy and shake things up where the sun always shines. Working with Felix Herngren and the rest of the team has been an absolute pleasure, and I can’t wait for audiences to see what’s in store for season two.”

Where the Sun Always Shines (Där Solen Alltid Skiner) is produced by award-winning Scandinavian production company FLX, created and directed by Herngren (Sunny Side, Bonus Family), and produced by Sussan Treschow (Jana – Marked for life, Meaning of Life) with SkyShowtime and SVT as co-producer. Head scriptwriter Erik Ahrnbom (Thin Blue Line, Keep It Together) joins for the second season, alongside writers Maria Nygren (Meaning of Life, Love & Anarchy) and Martin Larsson (Keep It Together), with Jessica Ericstam (Sunny Side, Meaning of Life) serving as Executive Producer for FLX.

Season two of Where the Sun Always Shines (Där Solen Alltid Skiner) is the latest Swedish series to be recommissioned by SkyShowtime, and is set to join a slew of hit local originals including sporting documentary Schmeichel, popular crime drama Veronika seasons 1 – 3, plus upcoming series The Trio (Trion) which premieres on 1 June, and National Homicide Unit (Riksmord).

Coors Banquet Giving Fans the Opportunity to Earn Their Spurs Ahead of ‘Dutton Ranch’ Series Premiere

Celebrating the cowboy culture both Coors Banquet and the new Paramount+ Original Series are rooted in, the limited-edition bottle-opening spurs are designed to be earned.

To mark the series premiere of Yellowstone spin-off Dutton Ranch on Friday, May 15 on Paramount+ and Paramount Network, Coors Banquet and Paramount are inviting fans into the world of the show with the “Earn Your Spurs” campaign, bringing together craft, heritage and a spur designed to open a Banquet. Coors Banquet is giving fans a chance to earn their place in Dutton Ranch, not just watch it. In cowboy culture, spurs aren’t handed out lightly; they’re earned over time. With “Earn Your Spurs,” Coors Banquet brings that cowboy mindset to fans, giving them the chance to earn their own pair inspired by the spirit of Dutton Ranch.

“In the West, spurs mean something,” says Alyssa Lynner, marketing director, Coors Banquet. “They represent the grit, time and effort it takes to earn your place. With Dutton Ranch, we saw a natural opportunity to bring that idea to fans in a way that feels true to the brand and the world of the show.”

The limited-edition Coors Banquet spurs take a classic symbol of cowboy culture and give it a Banquet twist, launching just in time to celebrate the premiere of Dutton Ranch. Designed in collaboration with a real spur maker, each pair features authentic craftsmanship and a built-in bottle opener. Made to wear with boots or sneakers, they carry the spirit of the West into everyday fandom and fashion.

“Earn Your Spurs” extends beyond the product, rolling out through daily drops and social storytelling leading into the May 15 premiere of the series on Paramount+ and Paramount Network. Actress Natalie Alyn Lind, who plays Orena in Dutton Ranch, will help bring the experience to life through social content, giving fans a closer look at what it takes to earn your place on the ranch.

“There’s something really special about the world of Dutton Ranch and the way people connect to it,” says Lind. “The ‘Earn Your Spurs’ campaign brings fans a little closer to that experience.”

Fans 21 and up can go online to answer trivia questions tied to Dutton Ranch characters and unlock access to purchase. Once unlocked, spurs are available for $120 per pair, with 23 pairs released daily while supplies last through May 19. For fans who couldn’t buy their spurs, there’s still a chance. The “Earn Your Spurs Getaway” sweepstakes will gift one lucky winner and a guest a Dutton Ranch-inspired trip to Fort Worth, Texas, along with a pair of Coors Banquet x Dutton Ranch spurs.

Beth and Rip are staking their claim in Rio Paloma, Texas in Yellowstone sequel series, Dutton Ranch.

As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together - far from the ghosts of Yellowstone - they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.

The new original drama series stars Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, along with Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Academy Award nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening.

'Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie' Book Announced By Abram Books

Aang and the Gaang are set to make a big return later this year in a new animated movie, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, to the delight of fans that fell in love with the world and characters when the original series debuted in 2005. Ahead of the release, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie has been listed online to share a look at the art that helped create it.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender

Abram Books is the publisher and a product page is live on the publisher's website, confirming its release date of Tuesday, November 10, 2026, but no cover art is currently available.

The title is listed as a 256-page hardcover at $50 with a Deluxe Edition also being available for $100, as seen on Amazon, although it is unclear what this will include. The official description highlighting what it will include is as follows:

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie

The official behind-the-scenes companion to feature film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie brings fans back to the beloved and massively successful universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender with an exclusive look at the film, revealing the creative process behind bringing Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko back into action.

Featuring never-before-seen concept art, character designs, and new locations, the book delves into the evolution of the characters, with new threats and new hybrid creatures.

With insights from co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, director Lauren Montgomery and the extended animation team, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie celebrates the film's humor, spirit, and innovative techniques—especially its stunning blend of 2D and CG animation styles never before seen from a Western studio, making it the quintessential companion for fans eager to experience the next chapter in the Avatar saga.

The book is written by Ramin Zahed, a Los Angeles–based author and editor in chief of Animation Magazine. His books include the New York Times bestselling Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie, as well as The Art of DreamWorks Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie, The Art of Love, Death + Robots, The Art of DreamWorks Animation, and more.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie shouldn't be a surprise announcement, many animated movies get the artbook treatment and one for a movie that will certainly be hugely popular is expected. What is interesting is the choice of publisher, as those that are fans of The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra will know that they each received artbooks from Dark Horse Books, including second editions. While Dark Horse do artbooks for animated shows, they don't cover movies, which may be the reason for Paramount not using them this time round.

The lack of a cover is common for Abrams Books, who often release them close to release, as seen recently with The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, that had its cover revealed just week from its release. The $50 price tag is what we come to expect these days as well for a book at this size, but what will be included in the Deluxe Edition will determine if paying double the price is worth it to dedicated fans. Previous Deluxe Editions have included prints, sketchbooks, presentation boxes, and more, so this could be a great option for collectors.

The book arrives just a month after the movie will premiere on Paramount+ on Friday, October 9th, making it a timely release for fans. Those interested can order the book below:

Latifa Ouaou, Maryann Garger, Konietzko and DiMartino serve as producers. Award-winning composer Jeremy Zuckerman scored the film.

With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve.
