NEW YORK – May 19, 2026 – Comedy Central and Paramount+ today announced that the 29^th season of the renowned series SOUTH PARK will premiere Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT on Comedy Central. New episodes will be available to stream on Paramount+ around the world, with next-day availability in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

Additional new episodes will premiere on Wednesdays: Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 11, and Nov. 25.

The hit animated franchise, which will be celebrating its 30^th anniversary in 2027, debuted on Comedy Central on Aug. 13, 1997. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were first seen in the animated short “The Spirit of Christmas,” and from there were launched into television history. The show continues to be celebrated three decades after its debut, winning the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program five times and receiving 20 nominations. SOUTH PARK was included in the 2026 Television Academy Honors as their first-ever animated honoree, as the Producers Guild Awards’ (PGA) first animated show to be included in Best Episodic comedy, and has also received awards and accolades from the American Film Institute (AFI), the Peabody Awards and the Critics Choice Association. In addition, SOUTH PARK was the #1 show on cable in 2025 among P18-49, including the return of season 27 delivering the best average P18-49 share in 27 years and the most-watched season in six years. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers. May 19, 2026 – Today, Paramount+ released the official trailer for the enthralling docuseries DEVOTION: OBEDIENCE OR BETRAYAL, which premieres on Tuesday, June 2, exclusively on Paramount+. All three episodes will be available to stream at launch.

DEVOTION: OBEDIENCE OR BETRAYAL explores one of the world’s most devoted – and controversial – communities. For over 50 years, daily life in Gloriavale has been governed by rigid beliefs and hierarchies as men rule over their wives. When shocking allegations of sexual abuse and a cover-up threaten their way of life, former members speak out while others fiercely defend their way of life. Featuring decades of unseen archival footage and exclusive interviews, the docuseries exposes a hidden world with striking similarities to “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and a secret community divided over faith, obedience and survival.

DEVOTION: OBEDIENCE OR BETRAYAL is directed by Nicole Rittenmeyer. Dame Julie Christie DNZM serves as executive producer for NHNZ. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong are executive producers and Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers.

MAY 19, 2026 – Today, Paramount+ announced the premiere date for the second season of The Agency and released the official trailer and first-look images from the upcoming installment. All ten episodes of The Agency Season 2 will be available June 21 at 12:00 AM PT / 3:00 AM ET on Paramount+. The acclaimed spy thriller stars two-time Academy Award^® nominee Michael Fassbender, Academy Award nominee Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston and Richard Gere.

The Agency follows Martian (Fassbender), a CIA agent living undercover in his own life. Samia (Turner-Smith), his lover, is a political prisoner in Sudan, and he will do anything to try to save her, even past the point of treachery. The only way out is deeper in. A knife-edge Martian must walk if he is to save love, life, and his mission.

The series stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterson, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, India Fowler, Andrew Brooke, Christian Ochoa Lavernia, Reza Brojerdi, Ambreen Razia, Alex Reznik and Richard Gere.
