SpongeBob and Patrick are set to go an epic traveling adventure in the brand new SpongeBob SquarePants special "SpongeBob & Patrick's Timeline Twist-up", premiering Friday 4th July 2025 at 5:30pm on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland, leading into the all-new movie Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado at 6:30pm! The hour-long special will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
During the SpongeBob SquarePants and The Patrick Star Show crossover, when Patrick’s Time Closet goes on the fritz, SpongeBob’s history is re-written by time traveling interlopers.
In the special, characters from The Patrick Star Show--Squidina, Cecil, Bunny, and GrandPat-- embark on a time-traveling adventure through some of the most iconic SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, including “Rock Bottom,” “Ripped Pants,” “Neptune’s Spatula,” and “Help Wanted.” As they appear, it is up to SpongeBob and Patrick to restore the timeline and stop the madness. The special also features guest star John O’Hurley (Seinfeld) as the voice of King Neptune.
"SpongeBob & Patrick's Timeline Twist-up" will make its debut on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on Friday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
