BOKEEM WOODBINE AND NONA PARKER JOHNSON JOIN SEASON TWO OF DEXTER ®: RESURRECTION FOR PARAMOUNT+

- April 17, 2026 - Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson will join the second season of Dexter: Resurrection in series regular roles.
- Johnson will play "Fiona Mixon," a training officer in the Homicide unit and a nepo-baby in the police world and Harrison’s (Jack Alcott) new love interest.
- Woodbine will play "Capt. Mixon," a bulldog of a homicide captain and Fiona’s (Johnson) father.
- In addition to Woodbine and Johnson’s casting, Paramount+ recently announced that Brian Cox will join this season as "The New York Ripper," Uma Thurman will reprise her role as Charley and Dan Stevens will play "The Five Borough Killer."
- From Emmy®-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, the series stars SAG and Golden Globe® winner Michael C. Hall (Dexter®, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.
- From Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios, Dexter: Resurrection is executive produced by Emmy® nominee Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner, Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. Additional executive producers include John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, along with Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean & Katrina Mathewson.

- Bokeem Woodbine: At age 19, Woodbine, a Harlem native, secured the lead role in Strapped and shortly after appeared in Crooklyn and Jason’s Lyric. To date, Woodbine has appeared in films of all genres, including Ray, Life, Devil, Riddick, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Overlord. His additional film credits include the remake of the cult classic Total Recall, Black Dynamite, The Rock, Dead Presidents, Five Thirteen and 1982. He can also be seen in Queen & Slim, In the Shadow of The Moon, Spenser Confidential, and the Ghostbusters reboot. Woodbine has also appeared in numerous television series, including Fargo, which earned him an Emmy nomination. His most recent credits include Halo, Ripley, Old Dads, Government Cheese, and Barbershop.
- Nona Parker Johnson: Johnson will recur in the upcoming season of Sugar. She recently wrapped up her multi-season role on Mayor of Kingstown and can previously be seen on Fear the Walking Dead and High Potential. Her additional television work includes Law & Order: Organized Crime, Them: Covenant, and The Handmaid’s Tale. Johnson also holds a BA in Theater, and her stage work includes leading roles in Guarded, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Detroit ’67, The Serpent, and Twelfth Night.
