DreamWorks Animation and Netflix have revealed a fresh face coming to the next season of Gabby’s Dollhouse. During an episode of the Couple Things podcast, Laila Lockhart-Kraner (the voice of Gabby) officially revealed the newest member of the family: Doozie!

Voiced by Celestina Harris (Lioness), Doozie is Gabby’s adorable, dog-loving little sister is set to bring a fresh dynamic, relatable sibling fun, and plenty of “paw-some” moments to the beloved franchise with her loyal puppy pals Puggie and CreamPup by her side. The reveal was timed to National Sisters Day.
Harris appeared virtually with Lockhart-Kraner on the Sunday, August 2 episode of Couple Things to talk about the news, with the actor telling hosts Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East that Doozie is “a very fun puppy-lover. She’s so energetic and creative and I would say she’s like me because I love having everything upbeat. I love just having fun. I love dogs! But Gabby has really inspired her to be the person she is because Gabby shows her throughout the episodes that its okay to fail, because you can keep on pursuing and keep on trying.”
In tandem with this announcement, DreamWorks Animation and Netflix released the official trailer for the upcoming 14th season of Gabby’s Dollhouse, featuring Doozie’s debut. The next chapter arrives on Monday, September 14 on Netflix.
Created and executive produced by Traci Paige Johnson (Blue’s Clues, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) and Jennifer Twomey (Blue’s Clues, Team Umizoomi), Gabby’s Dollhouse is a mixed-media series produced by DreamWorks Animation that unboxes a surprise before jumping into a fantastical animated world full of adorable cat characters that live inside Gabby’s dollhouse.
S14 Synopsis: Things are about to get pup-tastic! The dollhouse is filled with double the paws as Gabby’s little sister Doozie and her best puppy pal Puggie arrive for their first-ever cat and dog playdate. From a dog ear unboxing to a cat-tastic kitchen collaboration with Cakey and CreamPup, Gabby and Doozie know that sisters are better together.
