NEW YORK, NY (October 23rd, 2026) Today, Republic Records: Kids & Family released The Big Bad Bully, the newest EP from Sumo’s World, available now on all streaming platforms. Created by GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter and producer Theron Thomas alongside his son Sumo, the eight-song project explores friendship, empathy, and resilience through a series of connected songs and music videos centered on one of the most common challenges children face: bullying. Listen HERE.
Building on the previously released singles “Cowboy,” “Need a Friend?,” and “I Won’t Let You,” The Big Bad Bully follows Sumo through a story of friendship, confidence, kindness, and resilience. Each song is accompanied by an original music video, together telling one continuous story as Sumo encounters a class bully, learns the importance of standing by his friends, and discovers how kindness and understanding can change someone’s story.
The EP is designed to encourage meaningful conversations among children, parents, and educators while pairing relatable storytelling with contemporary production and memorable melodies.
Since launching in 2025, Sumo’s World has amassed millions of global streams. The project combines Theron Thomas’ GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriting with Sumo’s authentic perspective, blending meaningful life lessons with music created to resonate with both kids and parents.
“Every kid deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported,” said Theron Thomas. “When we started writing these songs, we wanted to tell a story that children could recognize from their own lives while reminding them that kindness is stronger than fear. That’s what Sumo’s World has always been about, and I hope this EP helps families have conversations that matter.”
“Sumo’s World continues to prove that children’s music can be both entertaining and meaningful,” said Bree Bowles, Senior Vice President, Republic Records: Kids & Family. “The Big Bad Bully tells an important story of kindness, empathy, and standing up for one another. We’re incredibly proud to continue building this world alongside Theron and Sumo.”
“Music is one of the most powerful ways to connect with people, especially kids,” said Ray Daniels, Managing Partner Of R3 Kids LLC. “The Big Bad Bully is more than an EP. It’s a story about choosing compassion, believing in yourself, and understanding that everyone has something they’re going through. If these songs help even one child feel less alone, we’ve accomplished something special.”
Through music, storytelling, and relatable characters, The Big Bad Bully continues Sumo’s World’s mission of helping children navigate real-life experiences with confidence, compassion, and joy.

THE BIG BAD BULLY LYRICS:
GET AWAY Lyrics - Sumo’s World
No way, no way, no way, no way,
no way, no way, right now!
No way, no way, no way, no way,
no way, right now!
Walking down the hallway like a tough guy,
Tryna scare us just because you’re the biggest
Making all the kids run in the building
On and on and on until the bell ring!
Get away, get away, get away, get away!
Get away, get away, get away, get away!
Need A Hug Lyrics - Sumo’s World
Imma big dawg, I don’t care ‘bout no bullies!
No matter what you say words cant hurt my feelings
You only don’t like me cause I get good grades
Gettin’ straight A’s, like always
It’s not cool to talk about someone
You should get to know someone
You must woke up on the wrong side
Of the bed
Mean face, why you always look angry?
You’re hurt too and that’s what they can’t see
Look at me if you need motivation
It won’t come over night you need patience
I said you, you might need a hug
I think you, you might need some love
All day you tryna shake up the hallway
Tryna mess up the games that we all play
You don’t have to you can come play on my team
You don’t have to be mean cause
It’s not cool to talk about someone
You should get to know someone
You must woke up on the wrong side
Of the bed
I WON’T LET YOU Lyrics - Sumo’s World
You’re a bully! A B-U-L-L-Y
You’re a bully! And I don’t know why
I won’t let you bully me (you can’t make me do your homework!)
I won’t let you bully me (can’t boss me around!)
I won’t let you bully me (stand up and be brave!)
I won’t let you bully me (one day you’ll change!)
I won’t let you bully me!
A bully is a person who is always rude
A bully is a person who will steal yo food
Let’s stand up against stopping bullies at school
You wanna know how it feels? Take a walk in my shoes
Let’s respect one another that’s what real friends do
Bullies giving wedgies—that’s not funny or cool!
Hurtin’ people’s feelings that’s not—funny or cool!
You’re a bully (you’re a bully) A B-U-L-L-Y
You’re a bully (he’s a bully) And I don’t know why
I won’t let you bully me (you can’t make me do your homework!)
I won’t let you bully me (can’t boss me around!)
I won’t let you bully me (stand up and be brave!)
I won’t let you bully me (one day you’ll change!)
I won’t let you bully me!
Bullies love pranks but nobody’s laughing
Fart sprays not funny, you make people mad
If you backed in the space, now he’s coughing and gaggin’
He fell to the floor embarrassed—what happened?
Now the joke’s on you cause everyone’s laughing
So I helped him up, I showed him compassion
Nobody likes being picked on I think he gets it
He apologized and wanted our friendship
We gladly accepted I’m glad we connected
You’re a bully (you’re a bully) A B-U-L-L-Y
You’re a bully (he’s a bully) And I don’t know why
I won’t let you bully me (you can’t make me do your homework!)
I won’t let you bully me (can’t boss me around!)
I won’t let you bully me (stand up and be brave!)
I won’t let you bully me (one day you’ll change!)
I won’t let you bully me!
The Big Bad Bully Lyrics - Sumo’s World
Here comes the big bad bully
The big bad bully, the big bad bully
The big bad bully! He’s a big bad bully
A big bad bully, he’s a big bad bully
A big bad bully!
Boom boom boom b-boom boom!
Everybody scrams when he walks in the room
They came to school to learn and be cool
But this one kid came to be cruel!
He likes the break all the rules
Play pranks and make ‘em feel like fools
He likes to give people blues
Ugh, it’s so not cool!
Here comes the big bad bully
The big bad bully, the big bad bully
The big bad bully! He’s a big bad bully
A big bad bully, he’s a big bad bully
A big bad bully!
He’s a big bad bully that’s his name
Terrorizing the smaller kids is his favorite game
Every single day the same old thing
Maybe tomorrow he come back to school changed!
Or maybe not, I don’t really know
But it would be nice, so I really hope
That this bully find a much better way to cope
With his pain instead of making everybody his jokes!
Here comes the big bad bully
The big bad bully, the big bad bully
The big bad bully! He’s a big bad bully
A big bad bully, he’s a big bad bully
A big bad bully!
SMILE Lyrics - Sumo’s World
(2x)
S M I L E
Won't you smile with me
Let me see you smile
It's the opposite of frown
Tell me why you hurt
Tell me why you sad
Tell me why you do the things you do when you get mad
Bullying ain't no fun
When people start to run
Let's put a smile on your face and let's go have some fun
So come along with me
And in my world you'll see
I gotta special smile for you
And I gotta smile for me
(2x)
S M I L E
Won't you smile with me
Let me see you smile
It's the opposite of frown
DEVIN'S Bully’s verse
I'm sad because I'm hurt
I'm hurt because I'm sad
The reason why I bully
Cause I do have no friends
Just me and my mom
And I'm the only child
Can you teach me how to get some friends
And teach me how to smile
Can you be patient with me
I'm trying to change can't you see
I like the fact that you got a smile
And it's just for MEEEEEEE!!!
(2x)
S M I L E
Won't you smile with me
Let me see you smile
It's the opposite of frown
Need A Friend Lyrics - Sumo’s World
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
While we at school, I’ll be your friend
When we in class, I’ll be your friend
While we at lunch, I’ll be your friend
All the time, Till the end!
I’ll be a friend, if you need one
I’ll give a hand, if you need one
I know you want a friend, you want a big one
A real friend, probably never seen one
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
If you need a friend, I can be your friend!
While we at school, I’ll be your friend
When we in class, I’ll be your friend
While we at lunch, I’ll be your friend
All the time, Till the end!
Can be your friend, I’ll be your friend
I’ll be your friend, Till the end!
Cowboy Lyrics - Sumo’s World
When I grow up I want to be a cowboy, riding my seat, wind in my face, chasing my dreams,
And maybe then I’ll find a cowgirl, flower in her hair, boots when she dance, yea yea yea
I want to be a cowboy, yee hah ha ha ha, yee hah ha ha ha, yee hah ha ha ha,
I want to saddle up quick & kick up dust, gettyup gettyup getty getty up
Maybe I’ll do it when I grow up, maybe I’ll do it when I grow up
Might become a Sherrif in a little small town, only cause my momma said I cant right now
Gotta dream big, I love how that sound dosey doe, spin it all back round
“Whistle”
When I grow up I want to be a cowboy, riding my seat, wind in my face, chasing my dreams,
And maybe then I’ll find a cowgirl, flower in her hair, boots when she dance, yea yea yea
I want to be a cowboy, yee hah ha ha ha, yee hah ha ha ha, yee hah ha ha ha
I want to be a cowboy, yee hah ha ha ha, yee hah ha ha ha, yee hah ha ha ha
I want to be a cowboy!

We gon’ party like we 10 yeah yeah x3

It's the first day of summer, And There's no school,
No homework, and that's cool
Imma clean my room and brush my teeth
I think I smellin’ pancakes it's time to eat
I rush to the table to say my grace
Pancakes my favorite, hurray hurray
I give my dad a hug before he goes to work
Moms in the kitchen baking my favorite dessert
It's cake, I can't wait
The party starts at 3, and I can't be late
So I call up my friends and tell them again
I know we only 8, but we gone party like we're 10
