Hasbro Welcomes Adam Redfern as PEPPA PIG Showrunner
Emmy and BAFTA award-winning creative to continue the franchise’s modern evolution
March 31, 2026 - Today, Hasbro announces that Adam Redfern has been appointed showrunner of
PEPPA PIG, marking an exciting new chapter for the beloved children’s entertainment franchise. In this role, Redfern will oversee creative direction across upcoming content, guiding storytelling, character development and the overall vision for the animated series.
Redfern is an award-winning creative with more than 20 years of experience working in children’s television, animation and digital content. He has written and produced animated series including
The Adventures of Paddington (Studio Canal),
Go Jetters (BBC) and
Oddbods (Moonbug), among others.

Preschool series
Peppa Pig first launched in 2004 and has since gone global, with films, merchandise and even theme park experiences. Last year the Peppa family welcomed a new baby sister, Evie, and recently dealt with little brother
George’s hearing diagnosis.
Update (4/4): Peppa Pig Tales, a web-based spin-off from the beloved animated preschool series, Peppa Pig, has added several young performers to its voice cast!:
- Isla Rose has been announced as the new voice of Peppa Pig;
- Eliyas will be taking over the role of Peppa's younger brother, George;
- Jensen Suter will now provide the voices for Danny Dog, Edmund Elephant, Richard Rabbit and Freddy Fox; He recently made its debut as Danny Dog during an Easter-themed episode of Peppa Pig Tales.
