Nickelodeon Israel (יִשְׂרָאֵל) has announced plans to premiere Between the Lines (אל עצמי) season two on Wednesday 1st July 2026. Additionally, the hit young adult series has been commissioned for a third season.
Created by Asia Levtov & Noa Lazar Keinan and based on the timeless best-selling book series by Galila Ron-Feder Amit, the series follows Zion, who, raised by his grandmother in Beit She’an, is sent to live with a foster family in the upscale Denia neighborhood of Haifa, in hopes of giving him a better future.
The sudden move forces him to adapt to a completely new reality – new friends, a new family, and an unfamiliar way of life. As part of the new household rules, Zion is required to write in a journal every evening. At first, he resists – but over time, he opens up and embraces the writing, which gradually reveals his personal story: how his father ended up in prison, and his own deep longing for belonging and identity. Through the journal, Zion begins to find his place in the world – and a home within himself.
The second season opens when Zion's life seems to be going well - back from Madrid, Dania's children are more united than ever and Molly is settling in. But surprising news from the Sharoni family, a tough new coach, and Osher's disappearance shake everything up.*
The series (16 eps X 25 mins) is directed by Yonatan Bar-Ilan produced by July-August Productions.
