Dalliance follows Billy (Hugo Weaving) an ex-cameraman who meets Dani (Heather Mitchell) on the Sydney Harbour ferry in a colliding of worlds. The attraction is obvious, and the writing would be on the wall… if Billy wasn’t happily married to his wife of 40 years, Rose (Georgie Parker).

But everything changes when Billy dies from a sudden heart attack while he’s with Dani. As his friends are reunited at his wake, and then find their own ways to move on, Billy’s untimely demise has far-reaching effects, with intimate relationships formed and others broken within the group. 

Dalliance is sometimes heart wrenching and often hilarious as our friends discover that life, love, and [*ahem*] in their sixties is not what they expected.

Two Years Later is a romantic dramedy starring Brenton Thwaites and Phoebe Tonkin. Created by screenwriter Pete Bridges, the series is produced by Emmy® and BAFTA Award-winning production company, Hoodlum. 

Thirty-somethings Emily (Tonkin) and Ryan (Thwaites) have a connection during their brief daily flirtations on their bus commute to work. But all that stops one day with the sudden COVID-19 lockdown.

Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey stars Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen as Patsy and John Ramsey, a couple who dedicated their lives to building the narrative of a perfect life, only to have it fall apart one Christmas night.  Nearing the 30th anniversary of one of America’s most notorious unsolved murders, the series explores the lives of the Ramsey family before and after the tragic murder of JonBenét when she was just six years old.

Joining the expanding stable of Taylor Sheridan’s television universe comes Y: Marshals, The Dutton Ranch, The Madison, and NOLA King. Boasting A-list casts and guest stars, Sheridan continues to captivate fans by exploring the stories of the Dutton family, and the terrains of Montana.

Y: Marshals is both a sequel and a spin-off to the wildly popular Yellowstone and sees Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Mo Brings Plenty, and Brecken Merrill reprising their roles.

The Dutton Ranch similarly follows former Yellowstone characters Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and Carter (Finn Little). Having risked it all for their 7,000-acre ranch, Beth and Rip have their peace. Now they face their toughest challenge yet; fighting to survive.

Executive produced and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, The Madison is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection and follows a New York family who make the move to the Madison River valley of Montana.

Set in the world of Tulsa King, NOLA King stars Samuel L. Jackson in his first role headlining a TV series. It follows the events of the third season of Tulsa King which saw Russell Lee Washington Jr. (Jackson) sent to Tulsa to take out Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) once and for all.

Seeing what Dwight had built in Tulsa, Russell heads back to New Orleans and the home he abandoned four decades ago, hoping to mend his relationships with family and friends, and take control of the city he left behind.

The series is part of Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount+, which includes Landman, 1923, Lioness, Tulsa King, 1883, and Lawmen: Bass Reeves.

Outside of the Sheridan universe but set amongst the stars is the highly anticipated next chapter in the world of Star Trek, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

If they gave an Emmy Award for “wildest comeback of a long-running animated series,” South Park would be shoo-in. The show’s 27th season (and the tense battle for Paramount+ to secure U.S. streaming rights on the eve of Paramount Global’s acquisition by Skydance has repeatedly grabbed headlines with no-holds-barred digs at President Donald Trump, VP JD Vance, homeland security secretary Kristi Noem and other major figures associated with the regime.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone delved into their latest season, which sparked major surges in viewership on both Comedy Central and streaming. According to Nielsen, the show’s viewership over the past four months has more than doubled its last season in 2023. With the network’s parent company canceling another Trump-targeting show, CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (defended by top brass as a purely financially motivated decision, the timing of which came after the host went after his home network), and Disney-owned ABC’s shepherd-crooking of Jimmy Kimmel in the face of FCC threats (quickly reversed), it raises the question: How to the South Park boys get away with it?

Although audiences may assume some level of censorship behind the scenes — especially in a hostile media environment — Stone revealed that that isn’t the case.

“I know with the Colbert thing and all the Trump stuff, people think certain things, but they’re letting us do whatever we want, to their credit,” the scribe told NYT. (In turn, Colbert has praised South Park for its censure of Trump, calling the show’s deepfaked PSA video of a naked Trump “an important message of hope for our times.”) The duo point out that they self-describe as “equal opportunity offenders” against “extremists” on either end of the political spectrum.

The article details how just a few weeks before season 27’s launch, Parker and Stone’s unflinching sights fell on Trump as their negotiations were seemingly slowed up the looming Skydance deal, which required the administration’s OK. They told NYT they decided to lampoon the President in the first episode “to show our independence somehow,” and the initial one-off character struck a “vein of comedy.”

Naturally, the White House was seething over the matter, with Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers telling Deadline post-premiere: “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention. President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”

Unfortunately for Trump and his administration, however, the relentless deluge of jokes has led to a ratings bump and renaissance of sorts for the long-running animated show.

It’s a winning formula that Parker and Stone will be sticking by for the time being.

While the creators continue to discuss going back to South Park‘s regular, if outrageous, schoolboy-centric stories, Parker said they’ve realized “there’s no getting away from this.” He added, “It’s like the government is just in your face everywhere you look. Whether it’s the actual government or whether it is all the podcasters and the TikToks and the YouTubes and all of that, and it’s just all political and political because it’s more than political. It’s pop culture.”

Paramount Pictures has announced that longtime industry executive Jennifer Dodge has been named President of Paramount Animation, reporting to Paramount Pictures Co-Chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein. In her new role, starting Monday, January 5th, Dodge will oversee all operations of the animation group, from development through release. 

Dodge takes over for Ramsey Naito, who was originally expected to stay on at Paramount after David Ellison’s takeover of the company and appointment as CEO. However, she was one of 1,000 employees who exited the last week of October as part of the studio’s cost-cutting moves. She had been in the role since 2021.

Dodge brings with her an accomplished background in franchise building, production, and creative development that spans more than two decades in children’s and family entertainment. Most recently, she served as President of Spin Master Entertainment and Consumer Products, where she oversaw the company’s global entertainment and franchise businesses, including content creation, production, distribution, and consumer products. During her tenure, she spearheaded the development and expansion of well-known brands such as PAW Patrol and Unicorn Academy, serving as executive producer across all Spin Master series and as producer on Spin Master, Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies’ the PAW Patrol feature films, the first two of which earned a combined nearly $350M at the worldwide box, and with a third installment, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie slated for 2026.

Previously, Dodge held leadership roles at Nickelodeon, where she served as Senior Vice President of Development for Nickelodeon Preschool, developing original content and nurturing emerging creative talent. Her work has been recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the “Most Influential Women in International Film,” and she has been featured in Variety’s Family Entertainment Impact Report for her contributions to the animation and children’s media landscape.

Dodge’s appointment comes at a time of sweeping change for Paramount, post-Skydance merger, with thousands laid off. Under the new leadership of David Ellison, the studio has recently committed to releasing at least 15 films in 2026, while plotting a “significant expansion” of its TV output.

Under Dodge’s leadership, Paramount Animation plans to continue expanding its pipeline of animated features; upcoming titles include The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, releasing December 19th; in 2026, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender; and in 2027, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2.
