• Today, Netflix announced Hollywood Arts, a brand-new spinoff of the hit live-action show Victorious, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2010-2013. The series is set to debut on Netflix in 2026, followed by releases on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. Production begins in October in Vancouver, Canada.

Notes:

- Yvette Nicole Brown (Drake & Josh) will reprise her role of Principle Helen.

- Casting on Hollywood Arts had already started by February, cand Nickelodeon reportedly assembled the cast before the series was taken to Netflix.

- It is unclear yet whether other original Victorious cast members, notably lead Victoria Justice and Wicked star Ariana Grande, would appear on Hollywood Arts. It would make sense for Justice to reprise her role as Tori Vega, Trina’s younger sister.

- Hollywood Arts held its first table read Oct. 14 with production underway in Vancouver, Canada. You can see photos from the table read above.

- Originally developed and produced by Nickelodeon, Hollywood Arts will now be produced by Paramount Television Studios. The newly revived post-merger TV studio encompasses the slates of Skydance Television and Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios as well as Awesomeness series and Nickelodeon’s live-action shows.

- This is the second Victorious spinoff series following the Victorious/iCarly mashup Sam & Cat, which starred Victorious’ Grande as Cat and iCarly‘s Jennette McCurdy as Sam.

Hollywood Arts, a Victorious Spin-Off, Starts Production on Season 1

The beloved Nickelodeon sitcom is getting a second act at Netflix. 

We’re taking it back to the halls of Hollywood Arts High School. 

Production has officially kicked off for Hollywood Arts, a spin-off of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious, which took its final bow in 2013. Filming is underway in Vancouver, and episodes land on Netflix next year. 

Daniella Monet, who starred as Trina Vega during the show’s four-season run, will reprise her role as an aspiring actor who still hasn’t gotten her big break. Hijinks ensue when she returns to her alma mater to teach a whole new generation of performing arts students. 

“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do,” Monet shared. “Victorious was in a lot of ways life-changing for all of us. Our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe.”

Trina is back at Hollywood Arts High School, and this time she’s stepping behind the desk. The struggling performer finds herself filling in as a substitute teacher at the prestigious school, where she surprises herself by inspiring a group of ambitious teens.

The pilot episode will be directed and executive produced by Jonathan Judge (The Really Loud House, My Weird School).

Paramount has announced the lineup of movies, TV shows, and live sports coming to Paramount+ in November. The Paramount Plus November 2025 schedule includes Landman Season 2, the comedy series Crutch, the documentary My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story, and the film The Cut.

Set in the boomtowns of West Texas, Landman is a modern tale of fortune seeking amongst roughnecks and wildcat billionaires – fueling an oil boom so big it’s reshaping the climate, the economy, and geopolitics.

Landman

In Landman season two, as oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Billy Bob Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.

Running a flooring company in Harlem isn’t easy, but neither is raising two adult kids who suddenly move back home. In the comedy series Crutch, Tracy Morgan plays Francois “Crutch” Crutchfield, a widower whose world gets turned upside down when his highbrow son and free-spirited daughter move back into the family home.

Produced by CBS Studios and created and executive produced by Owen Smith (The Last OG) with Cedric the Entertainer executive producing for A Bird and a Bear Entertainment, Crutch is an extension of The Neighborhood universe, swapping L.A. palm trees for Harlem brownstones.

Fans will first meet Crutch in a special episode of The Neighborhood** on CBS, which airs the same night that Crutch premieres on Paramount+. When Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer) calls on his cousin for a flooring favor, he ends up getting a lot more than a home improvement quote.

The Cut

Don’t miss the streaming premiere of The Cut*, starring Orlando Bloom and Caitríona Balfe. This gripping drama follows a retired boxer who returns to the ring for one last shot at the title – if he can survive an intense and risky weight cut in Las Vegas, guided by an unscrupulous trainer (John Turturro).

Just in time for Halloween, the dark horror comedy Shell* recently joined the Paramount+ library, starring Elisabeth Moss and Kate Hudson. Shell follows once-beloved actress Samantha Lake (Moss) as she tries to revive her career, only to be drawn into the mysterious world of wellness mogul Zoe Shannon (Hudson), where a terrifying truth lurks beneath the surface.

A PAW Patrol Christmas

Younger streamers will receive an early holiday present with the debut of the brand new PAW Patrol special, A PAW Patrol Christmas, premiering on CBS Television Network and Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium subscribers) on Friday, November 28 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). A PAW Patrol Christmas special features a mix of original and classic holiday songs in a heartwarming story following construction-savvy pup Rubble. He is looking forward to Santa bringing him a new laser drill, but things take a turn when Santa comes down with a cold and can’t deliver any presents.

Sports fans will have plenty to be thankful for during November with NFL on CBS Thanksgiving Day action featuring the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Dallas Cowboys streaming live on Paramount+. Meanwhile, soccer fans can catch marquee UEFA Champions League matches exclusively on Paramount+, including Chelsea vs. Barcelona (November 25), and PSG vs. Tottenham and Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich (November 26).

'Dora: Rainforest Rescue' Swings Onto Consoles and PC

The game is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

Launching in the 25^th anniversary year of the Dora franchise, Dora: Rainforest Rescue invites players to join Dora and Boots on a mission to stop Swiper’s latest scheme and restore the magical Alebrije Tree. Across five vibrant locations, players can run, jump, and swing through colorful environments, collect Magic Leaves, and solve puzzles that seamlessly blend adventure with Spanish language learning.

Along the way, fans will meet beloved characters including Tico, Isa, Benny, Big Red Chicken, and Ale the Alebrije. A variety of engaging mini-games add extra fun to the adventure, including Swiper Swipe quick-reflex challenges, Troll’s Quiz educational riddles, and additional character-driven activities. A two-player local co-op mode allows families to explore, learn, and solve puzzles together.

With authentic visuals, music, and voice work, the game immerses players in Dora’s world, making them feel as if they’ve stepped straight into an episode of the show. The experience is further enriched by interactive mechanics, including using Map for navigation, unlocking new locations and objects, and collecting clues from friends to solve environmental riddles. Each of the five unique locations also offers fresh challenges, hidden secrets, and plenty of replay ability for young explorers.

Designed specifically for young players, the game features simple, intuitive mechanics that are clearly explained to make every step easy to follow. Instructions are reinforced both visually and verbally, with characters guiding players through objectives while on-screen prompts highlight the buttons to press. These thoughtful touches ensure that children of all ages can play confidently, creating an experience that feels both accessible and engaging.
