'Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2' to Highlight PlayStation Plus' Monthly Games Offerings in June 2026

Sony has announced that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will be one of PlayStation Plus' monthly games in June 2026, and will be available for all PlayStation Plus subscribers to download at no extra charge on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from Tuesday, June 2 until Monday, July 6, as part of Sony's Days of Play 2026 celebration.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will be in good company, with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and Grounded Fully Yoked Edition also being available for subscribers to download for free in June. As a bonus, EA Sports FC 26 will remain available as a PlayStation Plus Monthly Game until Tuesday, June 16, capitalizing on the start of the World Cup.

Whilst the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 base game features a pretty stacked line-up of fan-favorite Nickelodeon characters, following its initial release in November 2023, several additional characters were released as paid DLC post-release, including Mr. Krabs (SpongeBob SquarePants), Prince Zuko and Uncle Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Rocksteady (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Whilst most games which become available on PlayStation Plus include DLC, it's currently unclear whether this will be the case for NASB 2.

It’s worth noting that this is the first PlayStation Plus lineup announcement since Sony hiked the price of the subscription service, sparking a backlash among customers. Here are the new prices for new customers:

'Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 3' Rumored to Be In Development

Over the past few days, rumors have been heating up about a potential sequel to the fan-favorite Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl video game franchise.

And whilst a third Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl game has yet to be announced or confirmed, it seems that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 3's character roster has been leaked online. While it’s hard to distinguish if this is indeed real, the information comes from BrainGremlinLeaks & FGCAlert. Both of these were fairly reliable leakers within the MultiVersus community.

The game's character roaster features characters featured in previous games, along with several newcomers, including from the worlds of Rock Paper Scissors, Garfield, The Casagrandes, T.U.F.F. Puppy and Henry Danger.

'Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2' Releases Patches 1.9 and 1.10

The developers of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 have released details of the game's 1.9 Post-Zuko patch and 1.10 Pre-Rocksteady patch! Patch 1.9 went live on June 26, whilst Patch 1.10 went live on June 27.

UPDATE 1.9: POST-ZUKO PATCH

NEW CONTENT!

• New Squads Mode: Form a Squad by choosing your 3 favorite Brawlers and engage in a dynamic fight against your opponent’s Squad! Once a character is KOd, the next will take their place in battle!
• New Game+: Repeat the story with all unlocked perks and cosmetics. Added an increased difficulty, stage, rule variants and new cosmetic rewards.

GENERAL

• Weight reduced on the following characters (Gertie, Korra, Krabs, Patrick, Reptar, MechaPlankton)
• Improved height at which Gun items projectiles are shot for Azula, Donatello, Ember, Gerald, Grandma Gertie, Korra, Raphael, Reptar, Squidward and Zuko.

NEW STAGES

• Added new legal layouts for Clockwork Lair!

BUG FIXES

• Companion Bug: Fixed an issue where players were not able to control their companion while another companion was spawning for the first time. (This used to affect Jimmy+Goddard, Zim+GIR and Rocko+Spunky).

BALANCE CHANGES

'Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2' Devs Release Patch 1.7

The developers of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 have released details of the game's 1.7 patch, which went live on March 1. Check out the patch notes below!:

UPDATE 1.7: ROTATION MODE, NEW STAGE LAYOUTS, ITEMS AND MORE!

NEW CONTENT!

• New Game Mode – Rotation: 3 to 4 players can play in a King of the Hill 1v1 style of gameplay, where anytime a player is KO’d it goes to the waiting list, and the next player enters the fight. All seamless during the match. It can be played with Stocks or Timed variants.
• New Stage: Added Clean, Double, and Triangle layouts for Food Dreams.

New Campaign power-up pack!

• Ring of Rage and Crown of Fire: When both are obtained, all attacks ignore Block and Super Armor.
• The Secret Formula and Krabby Patty Ingredients: When both are obtained it enables the chance for The Perfect Krabby Patty to appear.
• The Perfect Krabby Patty: Ignores debuffs and a % of damage.

New items!

• Jellyfish Jelly: Throw to spawn 3 jellyfish that try to shock your nearest opponent until they disappear.
• Fenton Thermos: Throw the thermos and watch how ghosts appear to haunt your opponents.
• Electrified Glove: Grab it to stun your opponents on your next hit.
• Lawn Gnome: Throw the gnome and watch it follow you as it creates an electrical field in between you and him, electrifying opponents.
• Ultra Snowzooka: Grab and shoot different sized snowballs depending on how long you hold the Light Attack button.

BUG FIXES

• Fixed an issue where Projectiles and Items hitboxes would trade against character hitboxes where they were supposed to be destroyed instead.
• Fixed an issue where Projectiles got stuck on platforms as they traveled through them.
• Fixed an issue where the match would softlock if a player taunted with a certain timing during the “Finish!” screen.
• Fixed an issue where GIR was crashing the game shortly after being deployed.
