'Nacho Libre' Lands on 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 9

Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Jared Hess' hit Nickelodeon Movie Nacho Libre (2006), starring Jack Black, Héctor Jiménez, Ana de la Reguera, Richard Montoya, and Darius Rose. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on Tuesday, December 9, and is available to pre-order today, including on the official Kino Lorber website and on Amazon.com.

Description: Comedy dynamo Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda, Tropic Thunder) stars as the sweet-natured Ignacio, a disrespected cook at a Mexican monastery that can barely afford to feed the orphans who live there. 'Max & the Midknights' Renewed For Season Two

Nickelodeon’s CG-animated series Max & the Midknights has been renewed for a 10-episode second season! The news was revealed by Paramount Global Content Distribution! Based on the best-selling children's books by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce (Big Nate), the show follows Max, a determined 10-year-old girl with big dreams of becoming a knight, as she leads her friends on epic adventures filled with excitement, bravery, and lots of fun.

Update (9/10/25) - Nickelodeon reportedly randomly premiered Max & the Midknights season two on Monday, September 8 at 3:55 a.m. (ET/PT)* on Nicktoons. It's currently unknown whether it was an error, as no more episodes are currently scheduled to air. Details of the season two premiere episode can be found below:

So Slayeth the Prophecy: Max comes face-to-face with an imprisoned dragon and is forced to decide between slaying the dragon to fulfil the prophecy, or doing the right thing and freeing him, even if it means putting her dreams of becoming a knight.

* This makes the premiere part of Sunday, September 7's broadcast day.

Max & the Midknights made its debut on Nickelodeon on October 10, 2024 following a sneak peek on YouTube in June, with the show's first 10-episode season airing weekly.

Throughout the show's freshman series, Max leads the rest of the Midknights on challenging quests filled with all-new original songs. After King Gastley steals the throne and forces an unjust rule on the Kingdom of Byjovia, Max must come to the rescue to overthrow the power-hungry foe. With her friends and Uncle Budrick by her side, Max’s courageous spirit won’t back down no matter how difficult the quest gets.

The voice cast behind the Midknights, a group of misfits each with their own unique talent, include: Blu del Barrio (Star Trek: Discovery) as Max, a brave and determined girl ready to take on any challenge headed her way; Melissa Villaseñor (Saturday Night Live) as Millie, a wacky yet super positive girl who brings the power of magic to the Midknights; Zeno Robinson (Transformers: EarthSpark) as Simon, Millie’s street-savvy and sometimes sarcastic companion; and Caleb Yen (Beyblade X) as Kevyn, the bookish genius with a photographic memory. Together, the group accomplishes nearly everything that they set their mind to achieve.

Alongside the Midknights, Jeremy Rowley (iCarly) lends his voice as Uncle Budrick, Max’s lovably silly parental figure and professional troubadour, Gary Anthony Williams (Central Park) voices Mumblin, a famous retired magician who helps guide the Midknights on their quests, Brian Stepanek (The Loud House) voices King Gastley, the nefarious ruler of Byjovia, willing to do whatever it takes to maintain his throne, and India de Beaufort (It’s Pony) voices Fendra, a dark sorceress working for King Gastley.

Who lives in a pineapple and is back for another exciting adventure? SpongeBob SquarePants! • December 5, 2025 – Paramount+ announced today that the hit original series LANDMAN has been renewed for a third season.

• The second season of LANDMAN premiered on Sunday, November 16th, and is set to be a top three series among all original content the week of November 17th and a top two series for the week of November 24th according to Nielsen preliminary data.

• From co-creator Taylor Sheridan, season two also struck viewership records for Paramount+, achieving over 9.2 Million streaming views for its premiere episode in the first two days on service. Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+. New episodes debut exclusively on Paramount+ each Sunday.
