New Partnership Will See Nickelodeon Introduce Mr Blobby to Audiences Around the World
BURBANK, Calif.--April 1, 2026--Nickelodeon is set to introduce Mr Blobby to viewers worldwide as the number-one brand for kids and families announces today that it has signed the British comedy icon to an overall talent deal. Under the arrangement, Nickelodeon will have the opportunity to work with Mr Blobby on a multi-platform basis including in consumer products, original programming, social media, live events and music.
Mr Blobby was first introduced to audiences in Britain in 1992 as part of the BBC's Noel's House Party, soon becoming a legend in his own right. As Blobbyfever swept the nation, the pink-with-yellow-spotted character climbed the charts with his self-titled 1993 single, which was crowned the prestigious title of Christmas No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart that year. As Blobbyfever continued, the beloved character launched his own line of consumer products, spanning VHS releases, video games, egg cups, beverages and more, and even opened his own theme parks. The character has since become a TV staple in the U.K., appearing in cameos on TV programs such as Harry Hill's TV Burp, Dead Ringers, Get Your Own Back with Dave Benson Phillips, Dick and Dom in da Bungalow, and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. He also appeared on The Last Leg, where he was declared as leader of "The 90s Party", a political party formed by the show's hosts.
As part of his comprehensive partnership with Nickelodeon, Mr Blobby will star in a raft on shortform and longform content for Nickelodeon's linear and digital channels. The first two projects announced under the partnership are: Blobbyvision, a hidden-camera prank show in production at Paramount Television Studios in which the titular character will prank celebrities and members of the public in truly bizarre ways that only Mr. Blobby can; and The Adventures of Mr Blobby, a 2D-animated preschool series produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios that will also introduce viewers to his family - his wife, Mrs Blobby, and son, Baby Blobby - as they have daily adventures around Crinkley Bottom. A short-form game show, Gunge Attack (w/t), is also currently in development at Nickelodeon Digital Studio, which will see Mr Blobby immerse contestants in slime. All programming will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, and will air on Nickelodeon channels globally.
Nickelodeon is also in development of an exclusive line of consumer products inspired by the popular character, and the network is in the process of securing major merchandising and promotional partners in a broad range of categories including apparel, home furnishings, toys, accessories, publishing and more.
Commenting on the partnership from his home of Dunblobbin, Mr Blobby said: "Blobby blobby, blobby. Blobbity blob blobby blobby-blobby. Blobby!"

IDW Publishing has unveiled a preview of TMNT: Shredder #7, a cover from issue #10, and the cover to the first volume trade paperback!
Out on Wednesday, April 15th, the chapter by Dan Watters and artist Sid Kotian sees Shredder return to Japan to recruit the Dog Star Clan. They’re an offshoot from the Foot Clan, but the cybernetic ninja clan is infected with malware.

March 31, 2026 - Today, Hasbro announces that Adam Redfern has been appointed showrunner of PEPPA PIG, marking an exciting new chapter for the beloved children’s entertainment franchise. Netflix today (March 9) released the official key art and trailer for the highly-anticipated third season of XO, Kitty.
Premiering Thursday, April 2 on Netflix, the new season of the spinoff series, inspired by the popular To All the Boys I've Loved Before film franchise, features eight brand new episodes.
This season, Lana Condor will reprise her role as 'Lara Jean' for XO, KITTY, making it her first time appearing in the series and officially returning to the franchise. Who is the creative team behind XO, Kitty Season 3?
As most XO, Kitty fans know, the series is a spin-off inspired by the popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise, which was based on creator and executive producer Jenny Han’s novels of the same name. The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star is reuniting with onscreen sister Anna Cathcart in the series.
It’s a family reunion on XO, Kitty Season 3, out April 2: Lana Condor, who played lovelorn high schooler Lara Jean Covey in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movies, is headed to the spin-off series starring Anna Cathcart as LJ’s matchmaking younger sister, Kitty Song Covey.
“It’s such a joy to be able to come back and see Anna,” Condor tells Netflix of her return to the franchise. “I think she did an amazing job creating the XO, Kitty world. It’s such a dream to be able to work with her again. I feel really excited and happy and honored I get to be back.”
In addition to the new photos of LJ’s return to Korea, you can watch the Covey sisters in action in the trailer for Season 3, below. It’s senior year at KISS, and Kitty wants to make the most of it. But when things get difficult and confusing, Kitty calls up her sibling for some sisterly advice. “We have to follow our hearts and trust that it will lead us to our next great adventure,” LJ tells her.
Season 3 of XO, Kitty sees Kitty Song Covey return for her senior year at KISS with the perfect year mapped out: She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations throw her plans — and relationships — off course, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.

XO, Kitty Season 3: Set Sail Early with the First 2 Minutes of the Premiere
You don’t have to “wait!” any longer to see what’s next for Kitty and Min Ho.
Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) and Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) end XO, Kitty Season 2 on the precipice of adventure. After a season of grand gestures and loaded glances, Kitty decides it might just be time for her and her enemy-turned-friend-turned-crush to finally be together. “Wait! Can I join you?” she asks, eliciting a mysterious head nod from Min Ho.
Is he inviting her along on his family’s upcoming pop-star world tour? Is that the latest dance move taking over KISS? Or does Min Ho simply need to stretch his neck?
Well, the answer is finally here, ahead of the XO, Kitty Season 3 premiere on April 2. The first two minutes of the upcoming episode — which you can watch above — reveal the immediate aftermath of Kitty’s question. Series showrunner Valentina Garza knows you’ve been waiting to find out what’s next for your favorite will they, won’t they duo at the Korean Independent School of Seoul.
“We thought it was important to come back and hear what Min Ho has to say and let that lead us into this next adventure in Season 3,” Garza tells Tudum. “This season is very much about Kitty learning that life rarely goes as planned — that sometimes you just have to let go of expectations and let life surprise you.”
The clip reveals that Kitty and Min Ho’s conversation will serve up one such curveball at the very beginning of Season 3. As the pair walks through campus, reformed playboy Min Ho asks Kitty if she really wants to go on tour with him. Feeling put on the spot, she laughs at such a suggestion, despite her true feelings. But fate intends to keep these two together, as Eunice (Han Bi Ryu) arrives just in time to invite Kitty to the first stop on the tour: Busan.
And just like that, Kitty is preparing to “set sail” on her first (hopefully!) romantic trip with Min Ho — she just needs a few minutes to pack her bags. Garza wants viewers to prepare for the “extraordinary set piece” that is XO, Kitty’s yacht getaway to Busan. “It’s such a glamorous, exciting launch to this season,” the showrunner says. “So we’re just so excited to be able to bring our fans along on this journey in Korea and live that kind of K-drama fantasy while we’re exploring these really grounded character stories as well.”
However, the excitement doesn’t stop in Busan. XO, Kitty Season 3 follows its titular teen matchmaker as she returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to create meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 Rocks the Earth Kingdom in June
Here’s your first look at the leveled-up sets, bending styles, and character arcs in the Gaang’s next chapter.
The world of Avatar: The Last Airbender is about to get a whole lot bigger: On June 25, Season 2 of the live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series rumbles your way.
Aang (Gordon Cormier) and his friends will venture farther into the Earth Kingdom, unlocking a deeper and more perilous chapter in their battle against the fearsome Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim). On their journey, they enter the mysterious city of Ba Sing Se, which Season 2 brings to life on an epic scale.
In a behind-the-scenes video, which you can watch above, the cast and crew explore the sprawling practical sets of Ba Sing Se, which was built outdoors by a team led by production designer Michael Wylie. Executive producer and writer Christine Boylan explains that stepping up the production played a major role in helping the series mature from Season 1 to Season 2. “Once we got the back lot and we realized we could build Ba Sing Se … I probably cried that day. It was so exciting,” she says. “All of those buildings were real. We would go in there with our monitors. We would go in there and write.”
The sets aren’t the only thing the series has leveled up for Season 2. “Our goal for Season 1 was to introduce the audience to this group of characters that were kids in the middle of a war zone,” says executive producer Jabbar Raisani. “And [in] Season 2, we take those kids and they grow. But growth is not a straight line. … They’re really trying to figure out who they are.”
Season 2 also introduces one of the franchise’s most beloved characters: Toph Beifong, a blind earthbending master played by Miyako, who was cast from 6,000 hopefuls. As Aang begins his earthbending training with Toph, their dynamic is, as Cormier puts it, “definitely one of those relationships that start off quite rocky. Get it?” He adds, “I’m learning, she’s teaching. … There’s quite a bit of argumentativeness, if that’s a word.”
The chemistry and banter among the cast will come in handy for the challenges that the Gaang will face — not only in Season 2 but also in the third and final season, which has already wrapped production. “I’m a big fan of the dark center of a trilogy,” teases Boylan. “So why shouldn’t we go hard? Why should we go easy? We have to go full bore.”
The journey is just beginning when Avatar: The Last Airbender returns June 25.

Als Bürgermeister Besserwisser, Erzrivale der PAW Patrol, rücksichtslos mit dem Abbau der natürlichen Ressourcen der Insel beginnt, löst er damit unbeabsichtigt den Ausbruch eines großen Vulkans aus. Die PAW-Patrol-Welpen werden in eine Reihe von spannenden, riesigen Dinosaurier-Rettungsaktionen verwickelt, größer als alles, was sie je zuvor erlebt haben, während sie Besserwisser aufhalten müssen, um die Insel zu schützen.

Después de que el barco quede atrapado en una misteriosa tormenta, los cachorros de la Patrulla Canina naufragan en una isla tropical inexplorada repleta de dinosaurios. Allí conocen a Rex, un cachorro que lleva años varado en la isla y que se ha convertido en un auténtico experto en todo lo relacionado con los dinos. Cuando el archienemigo de la Patrulla Canina, el alcalde Humdinger, comienza a explotar la isla de forma imprudente con la intención de aprovechar sus recursos naturales, provoca accidentalmente la erupción de un enorme volcán inactivo. Los cachorros de la Patrulla Canina se enfrentan a sus rescates más grandes hasta ahora y deben detener a Humdinger antes de que la isla desaparezca.

Lorsqu’une mystérieuse tempête surprend leur navire, la Pat’ Patrouille s’échoue sur une île tropicale encore inexplorée… et peuplée de dinosaures !
Ils y rencontrent Rex, un chiot courageux installé sur l’île depuis des années et devenu un véritable expert des dinosaures.
Mais leur ennemi de toujours, M.Hellinger, arrive lui aussi sur l’île avec un projet dangereux : exploiter ses richesses naturelles en creusant des mines. Ses actions imprudentes déclenchent bientôt l’éruption d’un gigantesque volcan endormi. La Pat’ Patrouille se retrouve alors entraînée dans une série de missions de sauvetage spectaculaires, plus impressionnantes que tout ce qu’elle a connu jusqu’ici. Elle devra arrêter M. Hellinger et sauver l’île avant qu’il ne soit trop tard.
