Nickelodeon Australia Announces SLIMEFEST 2013!

Nickelodeon Australia has announced and revealed the exciting and aweslime Nickelodeon news that the BIGGEST kid-powered, star filled family slimefest of the year is back for SLIMEFEST 2013, and this year it's going to be bigger, better and SLIMIER than ever before!!


This year, on Friday 27th September 2013, Nickelodeon Australia will be taking over the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre to hold the kids channels' second annual "SLIMEFEST" concert, Australia's first music festival just for kids, tweens and teenagers!

Nickelodeon Oz's "SLIMEFEST" event will combine all the best bits from the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards with Australian celebrities (to be announced) and much much more, and of course, lots and lots of Nickelodeon's world famous SLIME, to rock the roof of the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre!

This year the SLIMEFEST experience will be maxed to the limit! A whole new outdoor carnival experience will be there for visitors and attendees to enjoy before and after the show, which will be located inside the entry area. There will be games, rides, food, drinks and merchandise available to purchase and participate in along with some great interactive sponsorship things to see and do! Entry to the SLIMEFEST interactive area will be free and is open to the general public (rides, merchandise, food and drinks additional costs will apply and are not free). Lucky visitors will be able to join in all the fun and games at SLIMEFEST! (Please note you must purchase a ticket to enter the SLIMEFEST show.)

To celebrate the return of SLIMEFEST, Nickelodeon wants YOU to be first in line for tickets, so Nick's bringing you a special Ticketek pre-sale event! Nickelodeon Australia viewers and slime fans will be able to apply for pre-sale tickets to attend Nickelodeon Australia's "SLIMEFEST" from ticketing website 'Ticketek' by by logging on to and visiting the official 'Ticketek' website, www.ticketek.com and entering the special pre-sale code 'Nick' from Monday 17th June 2013!

As SLIMEFEST is an awesome concert format (it's not an awards show like Kids' Choice Awards), there won't be an orange carpet. But attendees will have a blast seeing all the awesome acts on stage and there will be heaps of great new surprises in the show too!

Nickelodeon USA To Premiere Epic New Episode Of "Sanjay and Craig" On Saturday 8th June 2013 At 10:30am ET/PT

Nickelodeon has announced in the following press release, from TVbytheNumbers, the Nickelodeon USA News that best friends, Sanjay and Craig, will continue to seek maximum awesomeness on Nick USA this Saturday 8th June 2013 at 10:30a.m. ET/PT during a brand-new episode of Nickelodeon's newest animated original series (Nicktoon). During "Heightmare," Sanjay is finally big enough to go on the scariest carnival ride, but can he survive it? Then in "Be Life Tufflips" Sanjay dresses like Remington Tufflips and is mistaken for his hero!

Nickelodeon also announced in the same news release that since the series made its debut on Apple's iTunes service, its episodes have been among the top 10 Kids TV episodes on iTunes!:

Nickelodeon Premieres Epic New Episode of 'Sanjay and Craig'


Best friends, Sanjay and Craig, continue to seek maximum awesomeness Saturday, June 8, at 10:30a.m. ET/PT during a brand-new episode of Nickelodeon’s newest animated series. During “Heightmare,” Sanjay is finally big enough to go on the scariest carnival ride, but can he survive it? Then in “Be Life Tufflips” Sanjay dresses like Remington Tufflips and is mistaken for his hero.

Nickelodeon's new animated series Sanjay and Craig tallied 3.6 million total viewers for its Saturday, May 24, premiere, driving double-digit gains with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11 and ranking as the number-two kids’ program on all TV for the week—second only to top-ranked SpongeBob SquarePants. Sanjay and Craig earned a 6.0/2.0 million kids 2-11 (up +22% over last year) and a 6.4/1.3 million kids 6-11 (up +31). Since its premiere, the series has had a strong showing among kids 6-11, where it ranked as the number-one animated program with that demo, averaging a 5.5/1.1 million (up +34% over last year’s like time period).

Since the series made its iTunes debut, its episodes have been among the top 10 Kids TV episodes on iTunes.

Sanjay and Craig follows the adventures of Sanjay, an excitable and irreverent 12-year-old boy (Maulik Pancholy, 30 Rock) and Craig, a smooth-talking snake and master of disguise (Chris Hardwick, Nerdist, The Talking Dead). Together, they embark on epic kid-inspired quests that are at times totally ridiculous, absolutely gross and weirdly sweet. From perfecting the ultimate bike skid, tightroping across a pool of garbage on a dare or Craig manipulating a contest to win his best buddy one hundred dogs, their routine hijinks often cross into the land of the fantastical and the absurd. Only Sanjay and his closest friends can hear Craig’s warped words of wisdom. The only thing that stands in their way is their unhinged, snake-phobic neighbor, Mr. Noodman (Tony Hale, Veep, Arrested Development), who's always on the verge of figuring out that Craig can talk.
