YTV Canada To Air Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports 2015 Live On Thursday 16th July 2015

YTV Canada has announced the exciting news on their official blog that the Canadian children's television channel will be airing Nickelodeon's "Kids' Choice Sports 2015" awards LIVE in July 2015!

Hosted by Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Quarterback Russell Wilson, Nickelodeon's second annual "Kids' Choice Sports" Awards will be held at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Thursday 16th July 2015 and will be broadcast live on Nickelodeon USA and YTV in Canada between 8:00pm-9:30pm ET/PT!

This year marks the first time ever that YTV will be airing the event. Canada will be one of only a couple countries airing "Kids' Choice Sports 2015", the only awards show for kids where NFL champions go head-to-head with tennis legends, and NBA record holders compete with NASCAR racers celebrating kids' favorite athletes and sports moments of the year!

With special guests, performances, outrageous competitions and unique categories, "Kids' Choice Sports 2015" will be bursting with fun, unforgettable moments, epic slimings and sheer 'fan'-demonium that can only happen on Nickelodeon. Kids from around the country will show their support for their favorite athletes, teams and sports moments and decide who will take home a cherished, one-of-a-kind Nickelodeon orange mohawked blimp trophy.

Sports superstar Derek Jeter will be honored with the Legend Award at this year's show in recognition of his unmatched talent, integrity and sportsmanship on and off the field. The Legend Award honors athletes who are the ultimate role models to kids across the globe, inspiring generations year after year.

YTV's Summer Beach Bash Makes Waves at Canada's Wonderland Splash Works on Saturday, August 8

(Toronto, Canada) Back by popular demand, Corus Entertainment's YTV is once again hosting Summer Beach Bash, the hottest, family concert event of the summer. This year, the televised summer concert and all-day event will be making even bigger waves at Canada's Wonderland Splash Works on Saturday, August 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. That same day, viewers across Canada will have the chance to watch the Summer Beach Bash on YTV at 7 p.m. ET/PT. YTV's own Carlos of The Zone, will host the show, along with help from Suki, Lisa and Victor.
