PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue" Heads To UK, Ireland

PAW Patrol’s live stage tour is making way for the UK and Ireland, following strong TV ratings for the Spin Master-produced series in the regions!

Produced by Nickelodeon, VStar Entertainment Group and Life Like Touring, PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue is currently traveling across the US and Canada, will launch in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin in September 2017, before rolling out in England and Wales later in the year.

PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue" brings everybody's favorite pups to the stage for an action-packed, high-energy, musical adventure. When Mayor Goodway goes missing during the day of The Great Adventure Bay Race, Ryder, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Skye and Everest come to the rescue! The 80-minute production, which includes two acts and an intermission, shows that "no job is too big, no pup is too small," and shares lessons for all ages about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.

The performance features up-tempo music and dance, and a brand new cleverly written original script that is a good introduction to live theater for kids. Classic theatrical scenery along with a high-tech video wall visually transports families to an authentic PAW Patrol environment, including locations from the TV series, like Adventure Bay, The Lookout, Seal Island, Farmer Yumi's farm and Jake's Mountain. Special interactive video allows the audience to participate via interviews, solve clues and puzzles with the Pups, follow Mayor Goodway and much more.

PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue", the first touring live show starring Ryder and the team of pups, features innovative costuming. Using Bunraku, puppetry elements are built into costumes worn by performers to create life-size pups that wag their tails, blink their eyes, move their mouths and engage the audience throughout their adventure. The costume design brings a fun, realistic parallel between the animated series and the live show. Each pup's all-important Pup Pack and vehicle also makes an appearance during the show.

PAW Patrol airs on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland's top-performing preschool channels, Nick Jr. and Nick Jr. Too, and on Channel 5′s Milkshake! programming strand, and is one of Nickelodeon's top preschool properties.

Paw Patrol is the UK’s top pre-school property and we know that families have been eagerly awaiting a live show,” said Alison Bakunowich, general manager, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland. “With Race to the Rescue, we are growing the potential of the property; taking it beyond the screen and giving audiences an opportunity to experience and interact with Paw Patrol in a way that hasn’t been available before.”

“Using Bunraku, puppetry elements are built into costumes worn by real actors to create a wonderful combination of life-sized pups and to make a stronger connection with the audience. The Paw Patrol cast sings and dances, which brings a fun, realistic parallel between the animated series and the live show,” said Jim Waters, producer, VStar Entertainment Group.

Below are the currently confirmed UK & Ireland tour dates for PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue. Tickets for each performance are available to purchase on Ticketmaster UK and Ents 24:

The announcement comes on the heels of PAW Patrol receiving a number of nods at this year’s UK Toy Industry Awards.

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A beast and a human form an unlikely friendship in Nickelodeon’s newest animated series Bunsen is a Beast, debuting Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 5:30p.m. (ET/PT). Created and executive produced by Butch Hartman (The Fairly OddParents), the 20-episode series follows the adventures of Bunsen, the first beast to attend a human grade school, and his best friend Mikey. The series will air at 5:30 p.m. (ET/PT) through Friday, Feb. 24, and continue with premieres in its regular timeslot of Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Bunsen is a Beast is produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, which officially opened the doors to its newly expanded building -- an over 200,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art, sustainable complex on January 11.

Bunsen is a Beast tells the story of Bunsen and Mikey, two new friends who embark on endless fun and adventures in their town of Muckledunk. As the first beast ever to attend a middle school for human kids, Bunsen feels the pressure to succeed and prove to the world that monsters can live among humans…and they won’t eat everyone for lunch. With help from Mikey, Bunsen will learn how to accomplish human world tasks, like, doing homework, eating ice cream, and riding the bus. In turn, Mikey will learn to navigate the Beast World and meet all the weird and wonderful beasts that reside there.

In the series premiere, “Bearly Acceptable Behavior,” Amanda tries to get Bunsen kicked out of school when he brings a dangerous bear to class. Next during, “Beast Busters,” Bunsen and Mikey have to save Amanda from mischievous Sneeze Beasts that escape from Bunsen’s nose.

Cartoons series, including The Fairly OddParents. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the animated series, Hartman brought the series to life in the 2010 live-action/CG animated hit TV movie, A Fairly OddMovie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! The series came to life once again in the original TV movie, A Fairly Odd Christmas in 2012 and A Fairly OddSummer in 2014.
