Nickelodeon Boy Band 'Big Time Rush' Offer British-Irish Boy Band 'The Wanted' Tips On How To Be Successful In North America

From the Daily Star:
BIG TIME RUSH TIPS FOR THE WANTED
The Wanted have a lot to work on. When people come to see a show they expect a full out production and that’s what we do - Logan Henderson from Big Time Rush
HOT boy band Big Time Rush have warned The Wanted: “If you want to crack America – dance!”

The American four-some, who have a show on Nickelodeon, were shocked to hear the Chasing The Sun fellas avoid throwing any shapes on stage.

Logan Henderson, 22, told me: “The Wanted have a lot to work on. When people come to see a show they expect a full out production and that's what we do.”

James Maslow, 21, agreed: “None of us are dancers first, but when there are four of you on stage, if you’re not playing instruments what do you do?

“It’s our job to be entertainers on top of singers.

“We want everybody to dance to our songs so it would be hypocritical not to dance ourselves.”

As well as practising their impressive moves – which included back flips off a trampoline when I saw them – their backstage antics also include pampering pets.

Carlos Pena, 22, is joined on the road by a German shepherd called Sydney and James has a miniature Alaskan Klee Kai named Fox.

And it wasn’t just me who was tempted to smuggle one home after I joined the guys in New York, ahead of Monday’s release of brilliant single Elevate.

James told me: “I’m going to have to get security for Fox. Van Halen offered me £25,000 for my dog. “I was like: ‘Sorry’.

Another hot topic in the dressing room is our talented British songbirds, who BTR want to get to know better.

Kendall Schmidt, 21, admitted: “We want to go for dinner next time we're over in the UK with Pixie Lott. She’s such a sweet girl and so beautiful.

“I also want to see Cher Lloyd in real life.

“I’m digging her tattoos – we could go get one together.”
The UK-Irish boyband "The Wanted" consists of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes.
