The third season of Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated Paramount+ Original preschool series, DORA, is set to premiere on Wednesday, July 2, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., and internationally where the service is available! For a free trial of Paramount+, visit ParamountPlus.com.
DORA season three will include a special birthday-themed episode that will also premiere on Nickelodeon, the week of the 25th anniversary of the beloved preschool property, on Friday, Aug. 15.
The upcoming season (26x11-minute episodes) will feature guest stars: Danny Trejo, as Santa; and Jett Gomez, who joins her dad Taboo on the series, as Quickatina, Quickatoo’s (Taboo) daughter.
Additionally, an hour-long special of DORA will debut the same day (July 2 at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT) on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon that will spotlight Dora's cousin Diego (voiced by Kai Edgar). In “Dora & Diego: Rainforest Rescues,” viewers will learn how Diego met his best friend, Baby Jaguar.
Nickelodeon will also continue to premiere new episodes from the second season of DORA starting Friday, July 11 at 11:30 a.m. (ET/PT), beginning with "Partly Claudia/Ranita's Magic Stripes."
DORA has also been renewed for a fourth season that will premiere later this year.

The Berry Hungry Caterpillar: Dora meets Carlos, a giant caterpillar who wants to be a butterfly! They need to find some butterberries that will help him transform. (#301B)
Unicornasaurus: Dora helps Benny and Uni the Unicornasaurus get their magic paintbrush back so he can be reunited with his pet, Bunnicorn. (#302A)
The Grumple Games: Dora teams up with Hearty the Grumple so she can finally compete in the Grumple Games. (#302B)
Little Dora's Big Adventure: Big Red Chicken accidentally shrinks Dora and Boots so it's up to Dora's little brother and sister to help get them big again. (#303A)
Bye Bye Balloon: Dora rescues Boots and her friends from Benny's out-of-control balloon so they can all go to La Reina's castle party. (#303B)
Singin' in the Tub: Dora and Boots help Benny gain the confidence to sing at the Canta Conmigo show. (#304A)
Show and Share: Dora helps Boots find a special Heart Banana to show everyone at Show and Share. (#304B)
Dora's Birthday Surprise: Dora and Boots find Dora's lost birthday cake and the family throws her a surprise birthday party! (#305A)
Moonlight Fiesta: Dora and Boots help La Luna find the Luna Lily so everyone can enjoy the Moonlight Fiesta. (#305B)
The new season and special help kick off “The Great Dora Fiesta,” an anniversary initiative featuring an array of brand-new multiplatform content and experiences for kids and families, marking 25 historic years of the franchise. “Fiesta” highlights include:
- The brand new live-action movie Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado, premiering July 2 on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.
- Magic Mermaid Adventures (working title), an hour-long global cinema screening event featuring four exclusive never-before-seen episodes, debuting in 20+ markets this fall, along with a brand-new Dora’s Mermaid Adventures podcast and accompanying YouTube series.
- Dora as the ambassador of Beyond the Backpack, powered by Nickelodeon Our World, a kindergarten readiness campaign that provides parents and caregivers with tips and resources focusing on STEM/STEAM, literacy, health & wellness, life skills and family engagement.
- An expansive global DORA consumer products line launch spanning key categories, including toys, apparel, publishing and packaged goods, and a national partnership with the family-favorite Rainforest Café, known for its immersive, jungle-themed dining experience.
- A partnership with Plan International to champion girls’ education, providing school supplies, grants, and backpacks to girls in need around the world, including a continuation of The Dora Fund.
- Multiple soundtrack and song compilations that will be released and available on all music streaming platforms beginning this summer.
- The extensive ExploraDora Collection, including the first and second seasons of DORA, the original Dora the Explorer series and additional franchise content, is available to stream now on Paramount+.
