From Celebuzz:
Big Time Rush Talk Covering the Beatles, Filming ‘Big Time Movie’ & More! (VIDEO)

It’s time for a whole new generation to discover the Beatles!

That’s right, Big Time Rush will be belting out not one, not two, but four (!) Beatles song for Big Time Movie, which debuts on Nickelodeon March 10. Celebuzz had a chance to talk to Logan Henderson, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Kendall Schmidt about what it was like to film the action-packed movie, and much more!

So, which songs were the guys most psyched to take on?

Kendall’s fave was “Can’t Buy Me Love,” because it was fun to sing, while Logan mentioned he thought doing “Revolution” was “cool.” James loved “Hard Day’s Night,” and the guys watched the Beatles film of the same name before shooting Big Time Movie. Though James mentioned it was “nerve-wracking” to cover these tunes, they’re exciting for their younger fans to be exposed to the classic music!

Check out what Kendall and Carlos’ had to say [...], and watch James and Logan’s take [here on the official Celebuzz website]!

Don’t forget to tune into Big Time Movie on Nickelodeon when it airs March 10 at 8 PM! Also, be sure to buy the Big Time Movie Soundtrack HERE!

Overview

If you don't know who the Beatles are - well first of all shame on you, but secondly you don't have to worry because the boys from Big Time Rush are going to help you out. BTR's new movie Big Time Movie is taking on a very English flavor, from the James Bond, Austin Powers type characters to the soundtrack inspired by iconic Brit band The Beatles.

Logan, Kendall, James and Carlos all agree that The Beatles have been a big inspiration for their own music and now they are happy and lucky to actually recreate and cover some of the fab four hits. The boys watched a few Beatles movies and realized that the band were very spontaneous in their videos and so Big Time Rush decided that for this movie their video/music performances would be totally inspired by the Beatles.

EW Unveils Exclusive Sneak Peek Video Clip From The Brand New "Big Time Rush" Movie "Big Time Movie" Featuring BTR Performing "A Hard Day’s Night"

The official website of Entertainment Weekly's 'Inside TV' blog, Insidetv.EW.com, has unveiled a "Big Time Rush" exclusive - they are giving fans of the hit Nickelodeon boy band "Big Time Rush" an exclusive chance to watch an exclusive online streaming video which features a sneak peek video clip from the the upcoming brand-new original Nickelodeon television movie "Big Time Movie", which features the BTR boys singing the classic "The Beatles" song 'A Hard Day’s Night', which you can view here on Entertainment Weekly's 'Inside TV' website:

Big Time Rush sings the Beatles 'A Hard Day's Night' in Nickelodeon's 'Big Time Movie' -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Back in November, we told you that Nickelodeon-crafted boy band would be covering four Beatles classics in their first TV movie, Big Time Movie, which they shot in Vancouver last fall. Now, we’re delivering you a little bit of that Big Time Rush-on-Beatles realness. Behold: A clip from the movie — which airs this Saturday, March 10, at 8 p.m. on Nickelodeon — is below. The best part: The clip features the boys singing “A Hard Day’s Night.”

Big Time Movie finds the foursome — Kendall Schmidt, 20; Logan Henderson, 22; James Maslow, 21; and Carlos Pena, 22– landing in London to kick off their world tour just as they get caught up in a James Bond-style mission to save the world. Their bags are switched at the airport and the boys are stuck with a device that could end civilization, if it got into the wrong hands. The movie — just like the series — is full of action and even includes a special agent named Penny Lane, in a nod to the Beatles. “We’re calling this A Hard Day’s Night meets Austin Powers,” Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon’s president of original programming, told EW while the movie was filming last fall. “We’re doing cool and comedy and making it into a Big Time Rush caper.”

Big Time Rush will also sing the Beatles “Revolution,” “We Can Work It Out,” and “Help!” in the movie. But for now, enjoy a scene featuring their version of “A Hard Day’s Night” here [on Entertainment Weekly's 'Inside TV' blog]

One Direction's first album, "Up All Night," is set for release in the U.S. and Canada on March 13, 2012. The album was a No. 2 hit in the U.K., where it was released in November 2011.

One Direction is one of the hottest new boy bands to hit the United States in a long time. The former UK X Factor contestants are currently on tour with pop royalty Big Time Rush and are sweeping the nation in the process. At Nickelodeon's Big Time Movie premiere in NYC, OK! got the chance to catch up with the guys about the tour and the upcoming Kids Choice Awards.

"It's great," Liam Payne said about the tour. "The boys [Big Time Rush] are actually a lot like us, kind of mischievous, like to have a lot of fun. We're very similar."

Liam also told OK! how excited they are for the KCAs on March 31 on Nick. "Massively excited for that. With Katy Perry there as well and Will Smith, it's going to be incredible. We can't wait. It's a massive privilege so we're honored."

All of the guys agreed that Will is the number one celebrity they can't wait to meet. "There's two guys for me," Liam said. "David Beckham and Will Smith, for sure."

Nickelodeon News: WILL SMITH HOSTING KIDS CHOICE AWARDS ON NICKELODEON IN MARCH!

Hopefully, they'll get to meet this year's KCA host! One thing they won't be focusing on is acting... at least for awhile. Harry Styles told OK! "You know we recorded an episode of iCarly. That was sort of the first acting stuff we've done, but it was quite easy because we were playing ourselves. I think at the moment, we just want to focus on the music side of things."

Need a 1D fix before March 31? Catch them on Monday, March 12, when they perform live on the Today show.
