As part of the Christmas 2012 special episode of Nickelodeon International's children's entertainment magazine television series "N-View", "N-View Christmas Special 2012", which Nickelodeon UK premiered and showed on Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK on Saturday 17th November 2012 at 9.00pm, and was narrated by Nickelodeon UK and Ireland presenter and voice-over artist Anna Williamson, "N-View" treated Nickelodeon fans and viewers to an early and very special Christmas present - a Christmas carol music video featuring current and upcoming Nickelodeon stars and casts from the popular Nickelodeon shows "Victorious", "iCarly", "Big Time Rush", "Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures" and "How To Rock" coming together to take a very special orange Christmas sleigh ride and to sing a very special version of the Christmas song "Sleigh Ride"! Nickelodeon UK also confirmed the Nick UK News that Nickelodeon UK will be premiering and showing the brand new Nickelodeon comedy series "How to Rock" soon, possibly in 2013!
Nickelodeon International's brand new "Nickelodeon Stars -- Sleigh Ride" jingle is based on Nickelodeon USA's version of 'Nickelodeon Stars Sing Sleigh Ride' Holiday Ident/Channel ID, which Nick US debuted in 2011 as a to celebrate 'Christmas On Nickelodeon USA 2011', but uses different Nickelodeon Stars singing different lines from from the song.
It is currently unknown whether Nickelodeon UK and Ireland will show Nickelodeon Internationals version of Nickelodeon's "Nickelodeon Stars -- Sleigh Ride" ident/trailer in full as part of Nick UK's Christmas 2012 image campaign. Nickelodeon UK Fanblog NickUKHub is reporting the Nickelodeon UK News that Nickelodeon UK is expected to start unveiling and using Nick UK, Nicktoons UK and Nick Jr. UK's 2012 Christmas holiday on-air broadcast design packages, including Christmas-themed logo's for DOGs (Digital On-screen Graphic)/BUG's and Christmas themed idents and bumpers, from Saturday 1st December 2012, as part of "December on Nickelodeon UK 2012" and "Christmas on Nickelodeon UK 2012".
To celebrate "Christmas on Nickelodeon UK 2012", Nickelodeon UK has also announced the Nickelodeon UK and Ireland News that Nickelodeon UK will premiere and show Nickelodeon's first full-length stop-motion animated special "It's A SpongeBob Christmas!" on Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK on Sunday 2nd December 2012 at 8.00am and 4.00pm (repeated one hour later at 9.00am and 5.00pm on Nick UK's plus-one (+1) timeshift channel, Nickelodeon+1), and that, following the success of Nickelodeon UK's "SpongeBob's Advent Calendar" Watch and Win competition in December 2011, Nickelodeon UK will be bringing back and holding their "SpongeBob's Big Advent Calendar" Watch & Win competition for a second year, where lucky Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK viewers and fans can win some great Nickelodeon prizes, as part of Nickelodeon UK's Autumn/Winter 2012 line-up and "Christmas on Nickelodeon UK 2012"!
