Maybe it's time for Elizabeth "Liz" Gillies' iconic Jade West character to make a comeback.
In February, Deadline reported a spinoff of Nickelodeon's Victorious starring Daniella Monet, who's set to reprise her role as Trina Vega, is in development under the working title Hollywood Arts. But would Gillies make a return?
"I'll always toss on that wig, man. I'm always down," Gillies told PEOPLE, having sported colored hair, eyebrow piercings and dark clothes to play the character — who canonically can't stand Trina.

"If the story makes sense, if it feels true to her and her future and her trajectory, and it's funny and smart, I'm there," she says. "I don't think Daniella would ever be a part of anything that wasn't done right."
Plot details for Hollywood Arts have been kept under wraps, but Deadline reported the series is in fast-track development with casting already in the works. It's unclear if Victoria Justice, who played Trina's sister Tori, will appear on the show.
Gillies thinks Monet is "the perfect person to continue this legacy" of Victorious, which originally ran from 2010 to 2013 and previously spawned the spinoff Sam & Cat, featuring Ariana Grande's Cat Valentine and Jennette McCurdy's Sam Puckett from iCarly.
"She's a comedic genius," adds Gillies of Monet. "I'm glad for people to see more of her. I'm so happy she's acting again."
Both actors reunited with one another and fellow Victorious alum Avan Jogia last month at opening night of Little Shop of Horrors starring Gillies and Milo Manheim at the Westside Theatre in New York City.
"I didn't even know they were coming," she says of her former costars. "Avan texted me that day and said, 'Hi, love. I'm in town. Is your show still running?' And I'm like, 'My opening's tonight.' He's like, 'Well, that'll work.'"
"Then, Daniella surprised me and bought a ticket and came with her husband, Andrew," continues Gillies. "We had fun. We spent the whole next day just walking around Central Park giggling like children. It was really nice."
Gillies stars in Little Shop of Horrors through June 1.
