Arrow Video have revealed that they’re releasing New Line’s live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy for 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release in the US, UK, and Canada in December (the US release date is Tuesday, December 16, the UK date is Monday 15th December). There will be regular and Arrow Video Store exclusive packaging.
Either way, the set will include Steve Barron’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Michael Pressman’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), and Stuart Gillard’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993).
Each will feature new 4K scans and restorations of the original camera negative (for the first film) and the interpositives (for the sequels) with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio and lossless stereo (for the first film) and remixed DTS-HD MA 5.1 and lossless stereo (for the sequels). Extras are TBA on Friday, September 26, but they will include new director’s commentaries and new cast and crew interviews for all three films, and more.
