Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

On social media, a TMNT fan noticed a job listing on Titmouse's website that states Titmouse Vancouver is looking for Harmony Animators (animators skilled in Harmony software) to work on the upcoming TV spinoff of Mutant Mayhem. According to the job listing, the Paramount+ TMNT series will be a "2D animated action-comedy."

Animators can apply to work on the series here.

This isn't the first time Titmouse will be working on the TMNT franchise. The animation studio previously worked with Paramount and Nickelodeon on an animated short for the TMNT Summer Shorts series that aired during the summer of 2016 and 2017. TMNT: Don vs Raph is an animated YouTube short about Raphael and Donatello engaging in a series of hilarious challenges to see who is the better. It was written by Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim, and directed by Sung Jin Ahn, who is currently working on The Legend of Vox Machina as supervising director.

What Comes After Mutant Mayhem?

Before the theatrical release of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, Paramount and Nickelodeon confirmed work on a Mutant Mayhem sequel and TV spinoff for Paramount+. Unlike the CG-animated movie, the TV series will be animated in 2D and be called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The title is a throwback to the 1987 anthology comic of the same name by former comic book publisher Mirage Studios.

The Paramount+ spinoff will bridge the gap between Mutant Mayhem and its sequel and retain the teen voice cast (Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon) from the films. Per the press release, the Ninja Turtles will be "challenged like never before as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo each go it alone for the first time. Faced with new threats and teaming up with old allies, the Turtles will discover who they really are when they don’t have their brothers at their sides."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is currently playing in theaters. Director Jeff Rowe will return for the animated sequel.
