The PAW Patrol pups are set to bound into their third feature length film, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, set to roar onto the big screen on Friday, July 31, 2026. And whilst we already know three of the big names that will be lending their voices to characters in the upcoming third feature film in the blockbuster PAW Patrol franchise, Spin Master has teased that we'll soon be learning a lot more!
In PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, after their ship gets caught in a mysterious storm, the PAW Patrol crash land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs. They meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert in all things dino-related. When the PAW Patrol's arch rival, Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a huge, dormant volcano to erupt. The PAW Patrol are thrown into a series of high-stakes, dino-sized rescues bigger than anything they've done before, as they must stop Humdinger before everything on the island goes extinct.
The voice cast sees Emmy® nominee Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) reprising her lead role as Skye, joined by EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson and popular comedian Fortune Feimster. In a Investor Presentation the global children's entertainment company presented at the North American International Toy Fair 2025 in New York City in March 2025, Spin Master has revealed that they'll be announcing the full cast list of PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie at a Licensing Show in May 2025! The document also has a first look at the film.
Whilst the document doesn't specify which licensing show the announcement will be made at, they're most likely referring to Licensing Expo 2025, which is set to take place from Tuesday, May 20-Thursday, May 22 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, which the company is confirmed to be attending as an exhibitor, along with Paramount Global/Paramount Consumer Products.
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is produced by Spin Master Entertainment in association with Nickelodeon Movies and distributed by Paramount Pictures. the movie will be distributed in Canada by Elevation. Producing are Spin Master Entertainment's Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clunie, and Toni Stevens, with Spin Master Co-Founder Ronnen Harary.
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie builds on the franchise's previous box office success and continued reign as the world's most popular preschool show.
When the theatrical film's official synopsis and logo were revealed in February, Jennifer Dodge, Spin Master's President of Entertainment said, "PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie brings together two things that preschoolers and their families know and love: our heroic team of pups and the allure of dinosaurs. Seeing this film come together has been an amazing journey thanks to a truly fantastic team of creatives, animators and A-list voice talent who are eager to bring our pups back to the big screen with a colossal theatrical experience."

The franchise's first two films, together earned over $350 million at the global box office. Veteran animation director, Cal Brunker, returns to direct PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie and serves as co-writer for the film alongside Bob Barlen.
