In April 1983, filming began on the pilot episode of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends. To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Thomas & Friends™, this unique pilot episode is now available for everyone to enjoy for the very first time.
Using specially created models, this initial test would help shape the beloved series to come. The following is a reconstruction of the previously unseen test using film elements discovered in the Mattel archives.
