The new addition to the family was announced yesterday, and fans have been invited to meet Baby Evie at a Welcome Baby Weekend at the Peppa Pig Store in Battersea Power Station.
Hasbro has announced that Mummy Pig has given birth to a beautiful baby girl, Baby Evie, on Tuesday 20th May at 5:34am. Both Mummy Pig and baby are doing well.
Continuing the brand’s iconic pregnancy and gender announcements, Baby Evie was welcomed into the world in a twist on the traditional royal birth announcement, thanks to coverage on Good Morning Britain complete with a jubilant town crier, a regal scroll-style proclamation and the unveiling of an official Peppa Pig birth announcement notice.
To mark the occasion, Peppa fans across the UK are invited to celebrate as Baby Evie’s makes her first ever on-screen appearance in the new Peppa Pig episode "Peppa Meets the Baby". The episode can be watched exclusively at the all-new cinema experience, screening in 2,600+ cinemas across 20 countries (including the UK), from 30th May, 2025. From 31st May to 1st June, the Peppa Pig Battersea store, the brand’s first standalone retail location, will host the ultimate piglet party, with fun-filled activities, new product ranges and the chance to meet Mummy Pig and Baby Pig in person. The celebrations also continue at Paulton’s Park, home of Peppa Pig World, on 1st June.
Evie’s arrival marks the start of a whole new chapter for Peppa Pig, with fresh adventures and stories, new characters and heartwarming family first moments taking place alongside the joyful chaos of family life. Hasbro says this exciting new era promises to delight fans for generations to come.
Fans can also look forward to watching Peppa meets the Baby this autumn exclusively on 5’s Milkshake! and Nick Jr., the home of Peppa Pig.
