Nickelodeon to Premiere New 'The Smurfs' Episodes From July 7

The Smurfs are heading to the big screen in a brand new adventure this summer, opening in theaters on Friday, July 18, however, Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Clumsy, and the rest of the Smurfs will be Smurfing up the small screen ahead of their all-new movie in brand new episodes of The Smurfs, premiering weekdays at 2:00 p.m. (ET/PT) starting Monday, July 7 on Nickelodeon!

Monday, July 7, 2025 - We Smurfed on the Moon: When the moon is turned off, the Smurfs decides to fly up there to turn it back on again.

Tuesday, July 8, 2025 - Fire Brigade on Foot: Clumsy and Dimwitty cause an accident when they argue once again about who is going to drive the fire truck. They don't want to be told off by Papa Smurf so they decide to get rid of it. But when a fire starts in the village, Papa Smurf orders them to go and get it. They do all they can to get it back but it won't be easy! They bump into the ogre and Begonia before heading to Gargamel's.

Wednesday, July 8, 2025 - The Prettiest Pebble in the World: Gargamel sets a new trap for the Smurfs by bewitching pebbles. The Smurfs are so enchanted by these shiny wonders that they argue endlessly about their incredible beauty. Luckily Voltaire is on the lookout and isn't hypnotized! He frees Lily from the magic spell and together they save their friends.

Thursday, July 9, 2025 - Smurfalicious Cat Food: Chef Smurf wants to turn Azrael into a docile cat, so he prepares a meal.

Opening in theaters on Friday, July 18, the brand new Smurfs film will see the gang embark on their biggest adventure ever!

When Papa Smurf is mysteriously taken by evil wizards Gargamel and his brother Razamel, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him. With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe.

Directed by Chris Miller (Puss in Boots, Shrek the Third), the movie features a star-studded voice cast, which includes: Rihanna as Smurfette, James Corden as No Name, Nick Offerman as Ken, JP Karliak as Gargamel & Razamel, Daniel Levy as Joel, Amy Sedaris as Jaunty, Natasha Lyonne as Mama Poot, Sandra Oh as Moxie Smurf, Jimmy Kimmel as Tardigrade, Octavia Spencer as Asmodius, Nick Kroll as Sharp Shooter, Hannah Waddingham as Jezebeth, Alex Winter as Hefty Smurf, Maya Erskine as Vanity Smurf, Billie Lourd as Worry Smurf, Xolo MaridueƱa as Brainy Smurf, Marshmello as Turtle, Spencer X as Sound Effects Smurf, Kurt Russell as Ron, and John Goodman as Papa Smurf.

Based on the work of beloved Belgian artist Peyo, the movie is written by prolific animation writer Pam Brady (South Park, Team America: World Police, #1 Happy Family USA and the upcoming The SpongeBob Movie: The Search for SquarePants). The picture is produced by Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, Robyn Rihanna Fenty and Ryan Harris.

Releases by Paramount Pictures and Paramount Animation, production services on Smurfs was handled at Nickelodeon Animation Studio with animation production provided by Cinesite.

Smurfs will be accompanied by a new SpongeBob SquarePants short titled "Order Up," directed by Sean Charmatz and written by Charmatz and Paul Tibbitt. In the dialogue-free short, SpongeBob amuses himself by overusing the Krusty Krabb order-up bell—much to the dismay and annoyance of Squidward!

Smurfs will have its world premiere in Brussels on Saturday, June 28 as part of Global Smurfs Day celebrations. It opens in the U.S. on July 18. Tickets are available now.
