Peyo Company, controller and producer of the iconic The Smurfs franchise, is delighted to announce the production of two brand-new 22-minute standalone episodes starring the globally beloved blue characters. The specials are currently in production and scheduled for delivery at the end of 2026.

To bring these exciting stories to life, Peyo Company is working in close collaboration with two top European animation studios: Blue Spirit (part of Studio TF1, France) and Dreamwall (Belgium), who are providing creative and production services under Peyo Co.’s leadership. According to the Peyo Company, both these studios bring valuable expertise and craftmanship to the project, helping ensure these special episodes live up to The Smurfs’ high standards of storytelling and animation quality.

We love her cute but mischievous little face, and her good (actually bad) ideas! One morning, the Smurfies along with a couple Smurfs set off on a journey to go and fetch a parcel brought during the night by a stork. This parcel, once arrived at their destination, ends up being rather surprising: it is a baby Smurfie, crawling around in a diaper! Little baby Smurfie is turning the trip back home into a real, challenging adventure, in addition to the perilous, unexpected dangers her tough luck will bring along the way!
