Get ready for another huge month ahead as Paramount+ has confirmed what is in store for audiences in August 2025, and boy is it a good one…
With the summer school holidays in full swing there’s a lot to sink your teeth in to across the month. There’s continued new episodes of blockbuster dramas Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Dexter: Resurrection, plus a brand new season of Twisted Metal.
Those ones might not be for the little ones, however, for the younger ones there’s PAW Patrol: Jungle Pups which debuts on Wednesday, August 13.
Film fans also have a lot to enjoy this month as three exclusive films – 5th September, Rebirth: Home Sweet Home and Heart Eyes – all arrive on the platform.
Fans can look forward to the entire Hunger Games franchise arrives on Friday, August 1st. Here's a fun fact: did you know that Suzanne Collins, who wrote the Hunger Games novels that the films are based on, started her career writing for Nickelodeon shows? Collins' credits include Clarissa Explains It All, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, Little Bear, Oswald and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!.

The ‘Basic (with ads)’ plan offers fans full access to the ‘Mountain of Entertainment’ on Paramount+ for £4.99 per month in the UK and €5,992 per month in Ireland, enabling streaming on one device at a time, in full HD.
Priced at £10.99 /€11,99 per month, the ‘Premium’ plan delivers an elevated viewing experience, with 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on selected titles. ‘Premium’ plan subscribers are also able to stream on up to four devices concurrently, with the option to download content to watch offline.
The ‘Standard’ plan costs £7.99/ €8,99 per month and offers ongoing access to the entire content offering on Paramount+, for up to two concurrent streams in full HD, with the ability to download and watch on the go.

Meanwhile, Pluto TV, the free streaming service from Paramount, recently added some beloved retro Nickelodeon UK shows, including Sister, Sister, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Moesha! There's also dedicated live channels for classic animated hits such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield & Friends, South Park, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Inspector Gadget, Transformers, and Bob the Builder, as well as Teletubbies and Barney & Friends, along with a Retro Toons channel airing Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, and even channels dedicated to paranormal series, including Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters!
