Nickelodeon International's hit CG-animated preschool series Deer Squad has been renewed for a fourth season. Currently in production, season four will be aired on both Nickelodeon International and iQIYI in China, continuing its global journey with young audiences.
Developed in collaboration with Nickelodeon International and Paramount Television International Studios (PTIS; formally through the VIS Kids branch of ViacomCBS International Studios) in partnership with iQIYI, an innovative market-leading online entertainment service in China, the beloved 3D animated adventure follows four courageous young deer as they navigate thrilling escapades, champion doing good, and safeguard their vibrant home. The heartwarming series seamlessly blends adventure, problem-solving, and humor, instilling valuable lessons of bravery and teamwork in young viewers.
The adventure-rescue show follows four, lovable, enthusiastic and heroic deer friends—Kai, Lola, Bobbi and Rammy—who protect the animals of Central Forest and the humans who inhabit Platinum City, a futuristic metropolis surrounding their woodland home. When there's trouble, the Deer summon their special Planet Powers of Water (Kai), Wood (Lola), Earth (Bobbi) and Sun (Rammy) to solve problems.
Nickelodeon International aired Deer Squad across Asia in August 2020, including iQIYI’s platform in China, and premiered in Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. later in the year. It was the #1 show in the Philippines among kids 2-14, ranked Nick Jr. as the #1 STV channel in Australia among kids 0-4 during Deer Squad premieres and averaged +148% in the UK compared to the timeslot benchmark. The series has been translated into over 30 languages, airing in more than 160 countries and regions, and reaching over 214 million families worldwide.
