Update (9/30): TMNT: Shredder is about to enter its next chapter.
Following the conclusion of the series’ opening 12 issues, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder #13 launches a new arc on October 28 from writer Dan Watters, artist Sid Kotian, and colorist Prasad Rao. The issue also joins The City That Never Dies, throwing Shredder and his newly assembled army into the undead crisis sweeping through the TMNT line.
Naturally, Shredder isn’t simply sending his forces into battle.
The new arc begins with Oroku Saki testing the mettle of his army by sending them into the undead onslaught as part of an assessment mission. There’s more behind the exercise than Shredder is willing to reveal, however, suggesting the chaos consuming the city may offer him an opportunity of his own.

AIPT is preparing for a upcoming AMA with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder writer Dan Watters.
Watters has spent the last year exploring Shredder from a perspective we haven’t often seen, following Oroku Saki as he rebuilds his power and determines what kind of force he intends to become in the modern TMNT universe.
Now they want your questions.
Have something you want to know about Shredder’s journey so far? Curious about the characters surrounding him, Watters’ approach to Oroku Saki, or where the series could be headed next? Submit your question using the form HERE, and AIPT will bring a selection of them to Watters for an upcoming TMNT Tuesday AMA.
You have until Monday, October 5th to get your answers in!
