Republic Records: Kids & Family and Nickelodeon are set to release Avatar: The Last Airbender – Book 2 Earth (Music From the Animated Series), an all-new digital album featuring the musical score from season two of Nickelodeon's acclaimed Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series, composed by Jeremy Zuckerman, on all major streaming platforms on Friday, July 25, 2025!
For fans who can't wait, Republic Records and Nickelodeon will be treating fans to a special edition of the fan-favorite Avatar song, "Secret Tunnel," sung by Chong in the second episode of "Book 2 Earth," "The Cave of Two Lovers," on Friday, June 13, 2025!
The release dates were revealed by Janet Varney, the voice of “Korra” on Avatar sequel series The Legend of Korra, during the latest episode of the official Avatar companion podcast, Braving the Elements, in which Varney and her co-host, Dante Basco (the voice of “Prince Zuko”) talk to Avatar and Korra composer Jeremy Zuckerman.
The news comes as Nickelodeon celebrates the milestone 20th anniversary of Avatar: The Last Airbender with all-new original digital content across the Paramount ecosystem, one-of-a-kind experiences, and brand new consumer products and games.
As part of the celebrations, Nickelodeon, GEA Live, and Senbla recently announced Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert – The 20th Anniversary Tour, in which audiences will be immersed in a two-hour performance and cinematic experience with a live orchestra that brings the show’s iconic musical score to life in perfect harmony paired with visual highlights and favorite moments from all three seasons of the series. The tour will kick off on Sunday, September 14 in Iowa City and tour more than 80 cities worldwide this fall, including Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, London, Berlin, Vienna, Stockholm and many more to be announced.
