announce BOBBLYS, a new intergalactic band inspired by characters of the same name, having recently made their music debut in DreamWorks Animation’s new cinematic adventure Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, out now. Appearing on Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie Soundtrack with their cat-chy song “Cat Party,” BOBBLYS will debut their first EP BLAST OFF! on October 17. Journeying from outer space, the BOBBLYS have arrived on Earth with the same boundless curiosity as a child. Their endless questions—from “What is a banana?” to learning the ABCs—are transformed into irresistibly fun, upbeat songs that spark imagination and get little feet dancing. By seeing our world through fresh eyes, the BOBBLYS create the perfect musical adventure, turning every moment of discovery into a shared celebration for curious little minds.

Crego shares, “BOBBLYS was inspired by my three kids, ages 8, 4, and 1. I wanted to create music with Alex that captured their sense of wonder and that our whole family could enjoy together. They became our most important collaborators—and our official focus group—we chose the songs they engaged with the most. BOBBLYS is filled with the joy and curiosity I see in them, and I’m thrilled to share that feeling with families everywhere.”
Alex Geringas, a GRAMMY Award-winning composer and producer, is the musical force behind BOBBLYS with his unparalleled expertise in children’s backed by an extensive portfolio of work with the industry’s biggest titans, including Pinkfong, Cocomelon, Disney, and Nickelodeon. ABOUT RYAN GREGO
Ryan Grego is the director and co-writer of the recently released Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie for DreamWorks Animation. The hybrid live-action and animated feature is an adaptation of the popular Netflix children’s series. Well established in the animation space, the Emmy Award winner began his career as a storyboard artist at DreamWorks Animation, working on major studio titles including Puss in Boots, Kung Fu Panda 2, Shrek Forever After, and Mr. Peabody & Sherman. He later joined DreamWorks’ television division, and during his tenure notably served as executive producer and showrunner of Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh for DreamWorks and Netflix. He went on to direct, executive produce, and co-write the screenplay and original music for the Netflix animated musical feature Arlo the Alligator Boy. Shortly after its release, he created and executive produced the follow-up series I Heart Arlo, for which he also wrote original music. His work on Arlo the Alligator Boy earned Crego an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program, as well as a HMMA nomination for Best Original Song in an Animated Film.
