Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season Two Episode Guide:

Mutant Battle Arena: Raph's brothers just don't get him. He NEEDS to fight! He's good at it too, according to his new trainer Spuds. But even though they don't see eye to eye, the Turtles must work together to stop a rampaging Bebop and Rocksteady from wrecking the city! (#201; season two premiere)

Raphael's brothers just don't understand him. Not only does he NEED to fight, he's really good at it, or at least that's what his new boxing trainer named Spuds told him. Spuds even ENCOURAGES Raph to work out his anger and negativity through fighting, even if his family and the annoying Pigeon Pete don't get it. But although the Turtles don't see eye to eye, they must work together to stop a rampaging Rocksteady and Bebop from wrecking the city! Social media blew up with videos of the two Mutanimals going berserk, fighting each other without seeming to know what was going on around them. And all the while, doing some serious damage to the city! As the dust settles, is there someone behind the whole plot, pulling the strings?

Mutantweight Title Bout: All of Raph's dreams have come true as he fights Rocksteady, Bebop, and Mondo Gecko in the underground Mutant Battle Arena. But he doesn't realize he's walked right into a trap set by Kitsune and her street gang, the Purple Dragons! (#202)

All of Raph's wildest dreams are coming true in the underground Mutant Battle Arena! He gets to let loose, fighting the massive Mutanimals Bebop and Rocksteady; even the hug-loving Mondo Gecko joins in on the fun! Raph doesn't hold back, and he gets his butt kicked with a smile on his face. Not only that, he's getting some serious bling in exchange for being part of the fights - gold chains, new clothes, even his very own vehicle, the TURTLE TANK! This makes Donnie, Leo, and Mikey very suspicious, since Raph has kept everything a secret from them. But audiences love Raph, which pleases the crime boss Kitsune and her street gang, the Purple Dragons. They run the arena with the help of an obnoxious investor named Knox. But Raph's dream may become a nightmare, as Raph is oblivious to the fact that he's walked right into their trap!

Raph Fights Everyone: With all his family and friends under Kitsune's mind control, Raph no longer wants to fight in the Mutant Battle Arena. But he'll have to (with Pigeon Pete's help) in order to save EVERYONE he loves before it's too late! (#203)

Raph is freaking out! He wanted to fight everyone, but now he's up against his brothers, and it's the worst. Kitsune and her gang the Purple Dragons captured Mikey, Donnie, and Leo and used mind control devices to send them into the Mutant Battle Arena. They chase Raph through the arena and out to the street where he uses the Turtle Tank as a getaway car. Raph realizes he's in too deep and must turn to an unlikely source for help - the snobby Pigeon Pete! Together, they form a multi-step plan in which Pete will steal the mind control devices right from under the Purple Dragons' noses while Raph distracts all the Mutants in the arena. But things don't go quite as planned and it's up to Raph to save everyone he loves! Can he find a way to disarm the mind control devices and save everyone before it's too late?

In the lab, Donnie plans his escape but stumbles upon a video of Rahzar who explains the Monster Mutanimals are doomed unless they find the blood of a stable mutant... and they need Donatello's help! A real-life Rahzar lunges at Donnie, who fights him off until a whole pack of Monster Mutants shows up. The other three Turtles track their Tokka to the lab but are quickly captured. When Leonardo finds himself the accidental hero in a subway station, saving the lives of innocent bystanders, he's thrilled by the title of HERO. This pushes him to a life of crime-fighting vigilantism, starting with putting the Purple Dragons in their place. But when he's caught on camera and his brothers and April see this Turtle-shaped hero on the news, they interrogate him: what's he up to... and can they get in on it? Now, the four Night Ninjas and April suit up and set out to rid the streets of crime in a single night. Now what's left to do? April finds a dog-napping ring that's been snatching up purebreds.
