The summer of entertainment is hotting up and sizzling on Paramount+ this August.
With a huge roster of shows and movies to keep us entertained as schools break up for summer, let’s see what August has prepared to beam down for our viewing pleasure.
August is headlined by the return of one of the streamer’s flagship series, Lioness, on Sunday, August 2nd. There’s also continuing new episodes from the fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds throughout the month. They’ll be joined by a host of classic shows including Parks & Rec, The Equalizer, Evil and Battlestar Galactica. There’s also the arrival of several big movie titles including Scream 7, Primitive War and Diablo.
For younger viewers, Paramount+ will be adding the SpongeBob Universe special SpongeBob & Patrick's Timeline Twist-up on Friday, August 14th. In the SpongeBob SquarePants and The Patrick Star Show crossover, when Patrick’s Time Closet goes on the fritz, SpongeBob’s history is re-written by time traveling interlopers.
When characters from The Patrick Star Show--Squidina, Cecil, Bunny, and GrandPat-- embark on a time-traveling adventure through some of the most iconic SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, including “Rock Bottom,” “Ripped Pants,” “Neptune’s Spatula,” and “Help Wanted.” As they appear, it is up to SpongeBob and Patrick to restore the timeline and stop the madness. The special also features guest star John O’Hurley (Seinfeld) as the voice of King Neptune.
