• Chessington World of Adventures welcomed real-life assistance dogs and the families they support for a special preview of the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land, opening to the public on Sunday 3 May

• The visit shone a light on the life-changing impact of assistance dogs and the charities behind them, while giving families an unforgettable day together in the World of PAW Patrol

• Celebrity mum Dani Dyer, alongside her children Santiago, Summer and Star, made the preview extra pup-tastic by welcoming the special guests to the new land

 

No job is too big and no pup is too small, especially when it comes to helping others, and ahead of the opening of the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land, Chessington World of Adventures has been celebrating the real-life hero dogs who do just that every day, ahead of opening Sunday 3 May 2026.

A selection of hero hounds, and the families they support, from leading UK assistance dog charities Canine Partners and Support Dogs wagged their way into Adventure Bay for an exclusive sneak preview of the World of PAW Patrol, where they were welcomed by Dani Dyer and her three children, Santiago, Summer and Star.

While Chase, Skye, Marshall and the pup squad are heroes on screen, assistance dogs are changing lives in the real world, building independence, confidence and everyday freedom, as well as providing vital practical and emotional support. The preview was designed to recognise these incredible partnerships, give families time together away from day-to-day routines, and underline Chessington World of Adventures’ commitment to creating memorable, accessible experiences for all.

The meet and greet saw six families and their dogs come PAW-to-PAW with the famous PAW Patrol characters before exploring all World of PAW Patrol has to offer. The hero hounds included Labradors Albert and Zeus from Support Dogs, trained to provide life-changing assistance including autism support and epilepsy seizure alerts. They were joined by black Labrador cross Golden Retriever June from Canine Partners, who helps her partner with practical day-to-day tasks that open doors to greater independence.

The new pup crew made the most of the preview of the new land, with Sophie captured giving Marshall a high-PAW, whilst Zues got tail-wagglingly excited as he went whisker-to-whisker with Skye. Dani Dyer, and her children Santiago, Summer and Star enjoyed the playpark and meeting Skye alongside the assistance dogs and their families.

Opening Sunday 3 May 2026, the World of PAW Patrol brings Adventure Bay to life inspired by the top-rated animated preschool series from Spin Master that airs on Nick Jr. and streams on Paramount+. 

Junior patrollers can enjoy four new rides, each themed around a beloved member of the PAW Patrol pack, three pup-tacular playscapes, plus PAW Patrol-themed food and beverage and retail offerings.  

Guests can extend their stay in one of Chessington World of Adventure’s PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms, the first and only PAW Patrol accommodation in the UK. Chessington World of Adventures has today announced the eagerly anticipated £15 million immersive experience, World of PAW Patrol, will open its doors to the public on Sunday 3^rd May – in time for the May Bank Holiday.

As excitement builds for the UK’s first and only land based on the pre-school series produced by Spin Master Entertainment, airing on Nickelodeon and streaming on Paramount+, one PAW Patrol fan has already put the park’s rides and play areas through its paces.

Following a nationwide search for the UK’s biggest PAW Patrol fan – a competition that received more than 2,000 entries - PAW Patrol fanatic, four-year-old Hallie Sawyer, from Southampton, was appointed World of PAW Patrol’s PAWject Manager.

Hallie landed the role after impressing judges by demonstrating how she lives the values of the pups every day, bringing compassion and kindness by encouraging friends and being her younger sister’s biggest helper and cheerleader.

Armed with boundless energy and PAW-sitivity as she stepped into the new role, Hallie’s duties involved ensuring the world is ruff ruff ready for action by testing rides and play areas and checking they exceed expectations for PAW Patrol fans across the world.

The new images released today give a first look at unseen areas within the 1.4-acre land. The immersive experience will include three themed play areas where little fans can immerse themselves in tail-wagging fun inspired by their favourite pups, alongside themed dining all inspired by Adventure Bay. These include:

• Rubble & Rocky's Play Zone - the hands-on, climbable construction zone will see guests slide, climb, and explore alongside their favourite construction pup, Rubble. Junior eco-heroes can also climb, crawl, and tinker their way through a maze of repurposed parts. The interactive play space invites kids to explore, problem-solve, and invent alongside Rocky, turning “old” into “PAW-some”

• The Flounder Boat Play - little explorers can help Captain Turbot on a high-seas adventure aboard the Flounder Boat

World of PAW Patrol will also feature themed food and beverage and retail offerings, serving up rescue-ready refreshments and souvenirs, as well as four thrilling rides, each themed around a beloved member of the PAW Patrol pack, including Chase’s Mountain Mission, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, the UK’s first ‘Drifter’ ride.

All paws on deck - World of PAW Patrol is getting ruff-ruff ready! Leading UK family theme park, Chessington World of Adventures, has given fans a first look at the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land, opening spring 2026 - and it’s already looking PAW-some.

First look images unveiled today of the hotly anticipated new attraction - dedicated to the top-rated animated preschool series from Spin Master that airs on Nickelodeon and streams on Paramount+ - follow the installation of the iconic PAW Patrol Lookout Tower™, a real-life replica of the tower seen and played with by millions of children across the world. The Lookout Tower will form part of the new ‘Chase’s Mountain Mission’ ride, the attraction’s entry level rollercoaster.

The new images show PAW Patrol character, Rubble, who is overseeing the site’s construction, and Sian Hooper - Creative Director at Merlin Magic Making and the brains behind the new land - masterminding the finishing touches being put to the iconic Lookout Tower. This includes the tower’s pièce de résistance - the legendary PAW Patrol pup tag.

World of PAW Patrol will see PAW Patrol’s Adventure Bay setting represented in vibrant landscape theming across 1.4 acres, with the land’s storytelling drawing on the role of the pups in the community, demonstrating purpose and everyday heroism.

The £15 million immersive experience will include four thrilling rides – including the UK’s first ‘Drifter’ ride, designed to delight riders with sliding, drifting and skidding sensations – among a host of other tail-tagging fun and features. Each of the rides is themed around a beloved member of the PAW Patrol pack:

• Guests will be able to hop onto Chase’s Mountain Mission, a high-speed rescue vehicle and entry level rollercoaster to help Chase and Everest save the day.

• Soar into action by joining Skye on a high-flying rescue mission on Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, where riders are invited to climb aboard Skye’s iconic helicopter and take to the skies. With spinning rotors, panoramic views, and a mission full of teamwork and tail wags, Skye’s Helicopter Adventure is an unforgettable flight.

• Become Zuma’s co-pilot and spring into action on the UK’s first ‘Drifter’ ride. Hop aboard a hovercraft and help navigate the waters from Adventure Bay to Seal Island on Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure.

• Climb aboard the bright red fire truck on Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue and hang on tight as it rocks and rolls through the streets of Adventure Bay. A high-spirited ride, it’s perfect for junior patrollers ready to spring into action. 

Further details on what guests can expect when visiting World of PAW Patrol will be announced in the coming months.

Ahead of World of PAW Patrol opening, the pups are also now on the hunt for a pre-schooler to become part of the patrol and take on the role of the ‘PAWject Manager’ this spring. The once in a lifetime opportunity will allow one lucky PAW Patrol fan to give their ‘final approval’ on the new land before fellow patrollers experience what’s on offer.

The PAWject Manager’s role will include being the first to test out the rides as well as meeting their heroes in their new home. The winner will also receive tickets for their family to attend the opening event, a night in one of the five PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms at Chessington, and other additional PAW Patrol goodies.

Chessington World of Adventures Unveils PAW Patrol Hotel Rooms

The hotel rooms are part of a range of new branded guest experiences at Chessington ahead of the PAW Patrol-themed land opening in spring 2026.

PAW Patrol’s Skye – from the hit series produced by Spin Master Entertainment and airing on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Milkshake! – posed for photos this week at Waterloo Station, before boarding her South Western Railway train to Chessington World of Adventures to oversee a new development at the theme park.

Skye’s visit comes as Chessington World of Adventures unveils five brand new PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms, the first and only Paw Patrol accommodation in the UK. Stays, available from Friday 24th October, are in a range of new branded guest experiences at the theme park ahead of the Paw Patrol-themed land opening in spring 2026.

The hotel rooms transport families straight to Adventure Bay. The fun begins on arrival with a designated Paw Patrol guest parking space, and in each room, immersive theming, including a periscope with panoramic views and a control panel in the style of the iconic Lookout Tower, bring the world of the heroic pups to life. The room’s décor includes a large mural of the pups, brightly coloured bean bags to relax on and a bunk bed styled as the famous Paw Patroller vehicle. Each room sleeps up to two adults and three children, for a great family sleepover experience.

Paw Patrol room guests receive a special ‘Pup Pass’, giving fast track entry to the daily Meet and Greets with Chase, Skye and Rubble in the park. And as a hotel exclusive, they can also see their favourite pups in the hotel.

Skye’s journey to Chessington even caught the attention of South Western Railway staff at London Waterloo.

Chico Coulibaly, regional manager for London Waterloo, said: "It was a treat to welcome Skye to London Waterloo on her way to Chessington World of Adventures’ new PAW Patrol hotel rooms.

"Taking only 35 minutes by train, the best way to get there is on South Western Railway."

The PAW Patrol hotel rooms are available to book now for stays from October 24, starting at £155 for a family of four including bed and breakfast.

Bookings include early ride access, a 'Pup Pass,' offering fast-track entry to daily meet-and-greets with characters including Chase, Skye, and Rubble, both in the park and at the hotel, and a Reserve & Ride one-shot pass.

Merlin Entertainments, a world leader in branded entertainment destinations, has announced a new partnership with Paramount to bring PAW Patrol – the number one pre-school brand in the UK and globally, produced by Spin Master Entertainment – to one of its leading UK theme parks in 2026. The introduction of the famous pups to Chessington World of Adventures Resort through the creation of the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol themed land, will surprise and delight families with young children across the country.

This major new collaboration is part of Merlin’s strategy to work with owners of leading intellectual property (IP) to bring these premium brands to life in key locations across the world and comes hot on the heels of its recent global partnership with Minecraft. It also signals the company’s ambition to broaden its offering to families with pre-school children, increasing its appeal with this key demographic.

Chessington World of Adventures is the UK’s only attraction to offer a theme park, zoo, aquarium and themed hotels, and is uniquely placed to strengthen its appeal to young families through the addition of this popular preschool brand. The development at Chessington will include the creation of first-of-its-kind concepts, not only with four PAW Patrol-themed rides, but also guest accommodation and a customised retail offer, all of which will bring the brand to life.
