Olive the Ostrich is a CGI (animated using computer-generated imagery) series for preschool kids which is narrated by Rolf Harris and is about a young ostrich named Olive who goes on fun adventures to all sorts of amazing imaginary places. Animators bring to life real pictures drawn and submitted by children, which are then integrated into the TV show. Inquisitive and enthusiastic, Olive loves to solve problems and help people whenever she can. She'll try anything once, which can get her into trouble, but always finds fun and inventive ways of getting herself out of it.

Each of Nick Jr. UK's brand new interactive story books will be available in two different modes; "Play mode", which features the popular Nick Junior UK presenters Arnie and Barnie (The Wiggly Worms; "The Wiggle Song", "A Bedtime Story"), who give a commentary about how the stories going so far and prompt the reader to play in-book games based on the story being read by clicking on special interactive elements within the pages, which can be used as a fun interactive learning tool to teach reading skills, and "Watch Mode", which lets the reader read a engaging story.

To launch with, the first story Nick Junior UK has added to their brand new "Read" section on their official website, NickJr.co.uk/read/, is the children's tale called "The Elves And The Shoemaker", with more brand new interactive story books planned to be added in the coming weeks.

London, 5th November – Nickelodeon UK announces a partnership with The Show 4 Kids plc to create ten original interstitials with hit family musical act 'The Go!Go!Go! Show.' Starring the core cast members including the sock-snarfing Fluffalope, the bespoke shorts will feature follow-along dance routines and original music written by UK pop supremos Mike Stock and Steve Crosby. The three minute, UK-produced interstitials will air on Nick Jr. from February 2013.

The Go!Go!Go! Show, launched in 2010, has received outstanding reviews and to date has completed over 100 live performances in London's West End and on tour around Britain. The show features a cast of six: Carl, Gemma, Jade, Holly, Steve, the inquisitive Mr. Baffled and Fluffalope performing a unique and interactive mix of pop music, dance and comedy. The live show experience will be translated to create specific content for Nick Jr. to encourage audience interaction and physical movement. With songs incorporating themes such as fitness, friendship and healthy eating, the Go! Go! Go! interstitial spots will cover all of the Nick Jr. day parts, changing from lively morning songs to calming before bedtime segments. Embedded into the continuity of the Nick Jr. schedule, the Go! Go! Go! spots will announce upcoming programming as well as providing a human face for the channel.
