Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting the marketing team in the delivery of campaigns and events, taking the lead for specific elements and managing projects in helping achieve our overall goals as well as those of the wider business.

Campaign Assistance and Campaign Management

- Providing support to the Marketing Managers on campaigns

- Prepare documents, presentations and proposals as required

Nickelodeon Job Summary

The PR Manager is responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of communications campaigns across the Nick Jr. channel and website, and Nickelodeon’s portfolio of consumer products in the UK.

Reporting to the Communications Director, the main focus of the role is to devise and execute integrated PR campaigns that support the strategic objectives of the channels, aiming to generate high-impact, targeted news and features that significantly raise the profile of the network in a variety of UK media – consumer and trade.

The PR Manager will be responsible for managing PR agencies on designated projects and will oversee the PR intern on a day to day basis. This position will also work with the Communications Director to support corporate, trade and internal communications initiatives as required.

Working closely with the consumer products team to develop and execute the trade and consumer publicity for Nickelodeon’s consumer product portfolio, including executive profiles, gift guide placement and halo products publicity campaigns.

Nickelodeon Department

The marketing and communications department manages the public awareness and reputation of the Nickelodeon network through a wide variety of media and channels (such as newspapers, magazines, TV, websites, blogs and any other ways we can think of!). Our aim is to educate our audiences (both consumer and commercial) about Nickelodeon UK, our programmes and the great work we do both off and on air.
Our work is hugely varied; often we’re dealing directly with journalists to set up (or respond to) a news story generated through a show or event. We’re always planning new campaigns and initiatives to engage with our audiences via our target media. The types of activity can be anything from competitions to screening events and ‘orange carpet’ launches. We’re always on the hunt for new ideas!

The company has a unique ethos of 'putting kids first’ in everything that it does; and it's the PR and Marketing department's job to ensure that that this message is constant in all of the campaigns, merchandising and general information that Nickelodeon creates and puts out. After all, if we're going to connect with our viewers we've got to tell them what we're about in a language they understand.

Key Responsibilities

To lead the strategy and implementation of innovative PR campaigns across the Nick Jr. channels and websites and consumer products in the UK.

To execute PR campaigns with a view to maximising positive exposure for the channels and the network.

Preparing briefing documents for PR agency, providing them with the materials they need and monitoring their output and results.

Managing coverage review / analysis.

Providing information for trade and internal communications, as required

Collating reports for management/International as required.

Responsibility for the Nick Jr. and consumer products press budget

Role-Specific Skills/Attributes

Minimum 5 years' PR experience.

Proven ability to deliver high-impact intergrated PR campaigns

Strong writing skills

Solid understanding of UK media landscape

Established journalist contacts across a broad range of media

Clear understanding of target audiences

The ability to mange multiple projects and work under pressure

Experience of TV/Kids/Youth sector is preferable

The star asks teenage girls to help the less fortunate by donating prom dresses.

Victoria Justice has been named the spokesperson for the 2012 'Donate My Dress' campaign.

The Victorious actress is calling on teenage girls to help the less fortunate by donating their prom dresses.

"Prom can be really expensive; this programme is an easy way for girls everywhere to get involved and help other girls in need," Justice said in a statement.

Justice will be making her own contribution to the cause by giving 'Donate My Dress' the frock that she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

Twilight actress Ashley Greene has previously endorsed the charity campaign.

Justice's series Victorious airs on Nickelodeon.
