"Peppa Pig" Sets Sail With Costa Cruises
Entertainment One (eOne) has teamed up with Italy's Costa Cruises to launch Peppa Pig-themed kids' areas and activities on ten ships that will sail to more than 200 destinations around the globe!
Starting in April 2016, young passengers on board Costa Cruises's ships will be able to enjoy dedicated kids' areas that recreate memorable locations from the popular animated Nick Jr. series. Children will also be able to participate in character meet-and-greets, Peppa-themed creative games and activity workshops.
This is all part of Costa Cruises's wider marketing initiative called "Welcome to Happiness Squared," which is meant to offer consumers a series of unique experiences throughout the year.
"This exciting new partnership with Costa Cruises demonstrates that the appeal of Peppa Pig now stretches to a wide international audience," said Ami Dieckman, the head of international licensing at eOne. "Their cruise ships visit hundreds of destinations across the world so their commitment to the brand is testament to its longevity and strength as a global entertainment property.
"We've had a great deal of success in recent years with experiential events around the world. Kids absolutely love interacting with the brand in the real world and those experiences are a great way to engender long-term brand loyalty."

Rainbow Appoints Giochi Preziosi As Pan-European Master Toy Licensee For "Regal Academy"
Rainbow has appointed Giochi Preziosi as the pan-European master toy licensee for its brand-new Regal Academy brand!
Giochi Preziosi will release a Regal Academy toy range of fashion dolls and accessories, play sets and role play game later this year, with the doll range set to hit shelves first in the run up to Christmas 2016, following the launch of Rainbow's brand-new Regal Academy animated television series, set to debut on Nickelodeon's global network of channels this Autumn/Fall.
The toy company will also represent the property for back-to-school, confectionery and footwear licenses in Italy.

Nickelodeon Movies And Paramount Pictures Developing "NickToons" Movie; To Be Directed By Jared Hess
Deadline Hollywood is reporting the very exciting news that Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies have set Jared Hess to direct NickToons, a brand-new feature film that he'll write with Jarusha Hess, his wife and writing partner on films including Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre!
UPDATE: Paramount Pictures have confirmed the very exciting news to Polygon. In a statement, a Paramount rep told Polygon "The project comes at a time when there is renewed interest in Nickelodeon's library of characters from the last 25 years."
NickToons will be a Nickelodeon-style take on the cartoon and live-action-blending film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".
Producing will be Disruption Entertainment's Mary Parent, who in quick succession produced The Revenant, The SpongeBob Movie, Godzilla, Noah, Pacific Rim, the just-wrapped Monster Trucks and the currently shooting Kong: Skull Island, and and Cale Boyter.
The picture is based on an idea by Ali Mendes, who works for Parent at Disruption Entertainment. Mendes grew up loving the characters and hatched the idea to bring them together.
Nickelodeon has a vast Nickelodeon character library from the past 25 years that can be used to frame an original story the studio hopes will spark a franchise. Signature Nickelodeon characters that will be part of the film at this point are Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko’s Modern Life, Aaahh! Real Monsters, and The Angry Beavers. It's currently unknown whether characters from Nickelodeon's anthology show KaBlam!, including unforgettable characters from Action League Now, Tiki Brothers and Prometheus And Bob, will be part of the movie.
Hess, who's repped by UTA and John Sloss, is still waiting patiently for Relativity to find its way out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy and release Masterminds, the comedy he directed starring Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis and Kate McKinnon. The Hess-directed comedy was considered the best of the completed projects at Relativity, and the one Ryan Kavanaugh wouldn't let go of when his company's funds were frozen. It was pulled off the release calendar last year and rescheduled for a September 30 release. By then, Wiig and McKinnon will have come out in Ghostbusters, which might make the new release date fortuitous.

"Nick Kicks" is a brand-new live-action football programme which will cover all 72 clubs of the Football League.
Premiering on Nicktoons UK and Ireland at 8:00am on Saturday 6th February 2016, the 22-minute programme will run for 18 episodes ending on Saturday 4th June 2016. In addition to covering the remainder of the 2015/16 season, the series will air across the entirety of the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. In total, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has committed to producing over 100 episodes of the series across the three seasons!
Featuring highlights of Football League matches filmed, edited and delivered by ITN Productions, "Nick Kicks" is produced by the Nickelodeon UK production team. The production of "Nick Kicks" follows the broadcast deal struck between The Football League and Viacom International Media Network's (VIMN) Channel 5.
Produced in association with the Football League Trust, each episode of "Nick Kicks" will feature highlights across Championship, League 1 and League 2 matches. These clip packages will feature highlights from the week's football as well as the more humorous moments from the week and a look ahead to upcoming games. In addition to the packages, "Nick Kicks" will take viewers behind the scenes of the Football League with visits to local clubs. Kids will be given a chance to experience what it is like to be a football manager or player for the day at their favourite clubs as well as being given the opportunity to interview players and staff.
Nickelodeon superstar SpongeBob SquarePants will also play a part in the series as he takes on various club mascots in weekly challenges.
Roman Kemp and Rachel Stringer have been signed as presenters for "Nick Kicks". A popular YouTube personality and Capital FM presenter, Roman is an avid football fan and started the YouTube channel, "Pitch Invasion TV" in 2013. Rachel Stringer is a sports presenter working on BT Sports with previous experience working on "Match of the Day Kickabout".
"Nick Kicks" is supported with a dedicated page on the official Nicktoons UK website at nicktoons.co.uk/nickkicks. Short video segments from the series as well as additional behind-the-scenes content, polls and quizzes will be available on the site along with an exclusive "Nick Kicks" game. "Nick Kicks" content will also feature on Nickelodeon's award-winning Nick Play app available on Android and iOS devices.

Nickelodeon UK is Officially Amazing! Nickelodeon UK's Guinness World Records Record Holder certificate for the most football (soccer) penalty kicks scored by a team of mascots in 1 minute, achieved on Nick Kicks at Alexandra Palace in London, UK!
"Nick Kicks" is a brand-new live-action football programme which will cover all 72 clubs of the Football League.
Premiering on Nicktoons UK and Ireland at 8:00am on Saturday 6th February 2016, the 22-minute programme will run for 18 episodes ending on Saturday 4th June 2016. In addition to covering the remainder of the 2015/16 season, the series will air across the entirety of the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons. In total, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has committed to producing over 100 episodes of the series across the three seasons!
Featuring highlights of Football League matches filmed, edited and delivered by ITN Productions, "Nick Kicks" is produced by the Nickelodeon UK production team. The production of "Nick Kicks" follows the broadcast deal struck between The Football League and Viacom International Media Network's (VIMN) Channel 5.
Produced in association with the Football League Trust, each episode of "Nick Kicks" will feature highlights across Championship, League 1 and League 2 matches. These clip packages will feature highlights from the week's football as well as the more humorous moments from the week and a look ahead to upcoming games. In addition to the packages, "Nick Kicks" will take viewers behind the scenes of the Football League with visits to local clubs. Kids will be given a chance to experience what it is like to be a football manager or player for the day at their favourite clubs as well as being given the opportunity to interview players and staff.
Nickelodeon superstar SpongeBob SquarePants will also play a part in the series as he takes on various club mascots in weekly challenges.
Roman Kemp and Rachel Stringer have been signed as presenters for "Nick Kicks". A popular YouTube personality and Capital FM presenter, Roman is an avid football fan and started the YouTube channel, "Pitch Invasion TV" in 2013. Rachel Stringer is a sports presenter working on BT Sports with previous experience working on "Match of the Day Kickabout".
"Nick Kicks" is supported with a dedicated page on the official Nicktoons UK website at nicktoons.co.uk/nickkicks. Short video segments from the series as well as additional behind-the-scenes content, polls and quizzes will be available on the site along with an exclusive "Nick Kicks" game. "Nick Kicks" content will also feature on Nickelodeon's award-winning Nick Play app available on Android and iOS devices.

In the brand-new "The Fairly OddParents" episode "Mayor May Not" (#154b), when Timmy wishes that his father could be Mayor, he ends up getting tortured by the paparazzi and risks having his fairies discovered! In the super sneak-peek, "No Respect", thanks to Chloe's stock advice, Mr. Turner is now super rich. But he still isn't respected in the town and he wants that to change!

Sneak-Peeks From Series Premiere Of "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V", Premiering 2/21 On Nicktoons USA
To celebrate Nicktoons USA starting to premiere and show "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V", the fourth main spin-off anime series in the popular "Yu-Gi-Oh!" franchise, on Sunday 21st February 2016 at 10:00am ET/PT, Nick USA has unveiled two super sneak peek previews of the series premiere episode, "Swing Into Action: Part 1" (also known as "The Trail of Light, Pendulum Summon!"), which you can watch on Nick.com by clicking on the pictures below!

In the first episode of "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V", "Swing Into Action: Part 1", Yuya Sakaki is an eighth grader who aims to become an "Entertainment Duelist". At You Show Duel School, he practices Dueling every day alongside his childhood friend, Zuzu. One day, he receives a written invitation for an exhibition match from the Pro Duelist, "The Sledgehammer". In the middle of a giant cheer, Yuya and The Sledgehammer begin their Duel! Although Yuya excitedly fends off The Sledgehammer's attacks in their Action Duel, he's eventually pushed into a corner. At that moment, a dazzling light shines from Yuya's pendant!
In Nickelodeon's first super sneak peek from the series premiere episode of "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V", titled "Goofing Around", Yuya and Gong practice dueling using the state of the art ARC system, but their battle gets cut short!
