Following the events of TMNT #300, Gene Luen Yang and Fero Pe kick off a bold new arc that leans into the supernatural side of the Turtles mythos.
Here’s the official solicitation:
After the shocking events of TMNT #20, the 300th issue special, death becomes a thing of the past as “The City That Never Dies” begins! Following an ominous warning from an old adversary, the Turtles try to stop their enemies from destroying the veil between the living and the dead. Can the newly reunited Hamato Clan reassemble the destroyed Ujigami mask and restore the veil? Or will the newly risen dead stand in their way?!
With the Hamato Clan reunited and the stakes now stretching into the realm of life and death, this next phase looks to push the series into even darker and more mystical territory.

Update (8/5):
Death has never stayed buried for long in the world of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but after the game-changing events of TMNT #20, things are about to get far stranger.
AIPT has
revealed a preview of
TMNT #21, the next chapter in Gene Luen Yang’s ongoing run, with Fero Pe’s on art. The issue kicks off the brand-new storyline, “The City That Never Dies,” as the reunited Hamato Clan races to prevent the barrier between the living and the dead from collapsing completely.
The fallout from the landmark TMNT #20 is immediate as “The City That Never Dies” begins.
After receiving a warning from an old enemy, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and the reunited Hamato Clan must stop their enemies from tearing open the veil separating the living and the dead. Their only hope may lie in restoring the shattered Ujigami mask, but with the dead already beginning to rise, time is running out.
From writer Gene Luen Yang and artist Fero Pe, the new arc promises supernatural stakes unlike anything the current series has tackled so far.

Things are looking bleak for Oroku Saki.
The E.P.F. has finally captured Shredder, and removing the mind-controlling Vreen grub from his body won’t be a gentle procedure. Even one of the Turtles’ greatest enemies appears cornered… though anyone familiar with Shredder knows turning your back on him is rarely a wise decision.
Writer Dan Watters and artist Giona Zefiro continue one of TMNT’s strongest solo series as Shredder faces one of his most dangerous challenges yet.
TMNT: Shredder #11 - "The Kill Switch" also arrives Wednesday, August 19.
