Toy and game company, Hasbro, and the Natural History Museum have come together to release a new line of clothing and merchandise inspired by Peppa Pig – available exclusive to F&F at Tesco supermarkets in the U.K.

“As we celebrate Hasbro’s 100th anniversary this year and lead into Peppa Pig’s 20th in 2024, we want to bring our littlest fans in on the fun with collaborations that foster creativity, adventure and a love of learning,” says Marianne James, vice president, EMEA and Asia, licensed consumer products, Hasbro. “By bringing two award-winning and powerful brands together for this adorable collection at a British retailer, we’ve created something truly special for everyone’s favorite pig in her home market.”

Peppa Pig encourages kids to jump in and explore the world around them, from the everyday to the epic. Inspired by this ethos, the Peppa Pig x Natural History Museum collection includes a colorful array of clothing. Each item features Peppa Pig and her brother George in a science or nature design, from pointing out buzzing bees and butterflies to riding on larger-than-life dinosaurs and floating among the stars, planets and meteors in outer space. Peppa-branded socks for preschoolers and an exclusive new plush toy will be available for purchase as well.

As the UK’s most-visited indoor attraction, the Natural History Museum is an iconic institution that, like Peppa, encourages curious minds to learn and grow. Through this collaboration, families will support the Natural History Museum and its vision to build a future where both the planet and people thrive.

“We are excited to work with Peppa Pig, a brand that sparks such curiosity in children everywhere,” says Maxine Lister, head, licensing, Natural History Museum. “Our mission is to create advocates for the planet and to inspire a love of nature, across all ages. This colorful new collection is perfect for kids who love to learn about our natural world – and who just might be the next generation of scientists dedicated to protecting our planet.”

This collaboration comes on the heels of a co-branded experience in which Hasbro and the Natural History Museum transformed one of the Museum’s shops into Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom.

“We are really looking forward to launching this very special exclusive collaboration bringing two exciting brands together at Tesco,” says Natalie Ackerman, senior licensing manager, F&F Tesco. “We have worked hard with our key partners, Hasbro and Natural History Museum, to bring to life a range of sustainable clothing using characters that our customers love. We are passionate about bringing our licenses to life and have developed a product range that educates our customers through factual graphics and assets as well as incorporating into our branding. We look forward to seeing our exciting launch plans come to life in September.”

The Natural History Museum is a world-leading science centre and one of the most visited attractions in the UK. A global source of curiosity, inspiration and joy. The Museum’s licensing department continues to team up with prestigious brands and retailers which share its vision of creativity and sustainability both within the UK and globally.

The Peppa Pig x Natural History Museum clothing line is available at F&F at Tesco Supermarkets.

This collaboration comes on the heels of an exciting co-branded experience in which Hasbro and the Natural History Museum transformed one of the Museum’s shops into Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom, which was open until Sept. 10.

At the Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom, visitors were invited to join Peppa Pig and her brother George on an immersive play experience in the heart of the museum, to learn all about their love for the planet. Open between Friday 4th August through Sunday 10th September, the attraction was perfectly timed as an ideal family activity over the summer holidays.

Children could discover why dinosaurs are George’s favourite animals, choose a book to enjoy story time with Peppa, get creative with themed colouring and activity sheets, draw their own dinosaur in the craft zone and relax and watch their favourite Peppa Pig episodes.

There was also the chance to meet Peppa Pig and her family face-to-face every Monday, alongside other interactive events throughout the Discovery Playroom’s run. Visitors also got the opportunity to listen to storyteller, Lucy Walters, reading some of her favourite Peppa Pig stories every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays, with three sessions throughout the day.

Many Peppa Pig-themed products were available, including Peppa Pots to encourage children to plant ‘easy-to-grow’ seeds; Peppa Pig Wooden Family Figures; Peppa Pig story books, including ‘Peppa Loves our Planet’, and Peppa Pig-themed clothing.

Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom was located within the museum’s main shop, by Hintze Hall. Every purchase from the Natural History Museum shop and online store helps to support the Museum’s 350 scientists and their vital work, including finding solutions to the planetary emergency.
