Nine episodes will drop for binge-viewing on Friday, May 31 on streaming and on-demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan before episodes 401 and 402 debut on air on Sunday, June 2, at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Two back-to-back episodes will continue to air on Sundays at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT with episode 409 airing on Sunday, June 30, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

COUPLES THERAPY brings viewers into therapy sessions with Dr. Guralnik, as she deftly guides couples through the conflicts – and extraordinary breakthroughs – typically hidden behind closed doors. In season four, Dr. Guralnik uncovers the past secrets and current blowups of four new couples: A polyamorous trio struggles with power dynamics and hidden resentments; newlyweds grapple with religion and sex after severing ties with a disapproving mother; a fiery young couple who can’t stop fighting try living together for the sake of their kid; and Orna decides to prolong treatment for a particularly complicated case of a man who can’t remember fights with his partner and dissociates into multiple identities.

Riveting Three-Part Docuseries Sheds Light on Unknown Serial Killer Billy Chemirmir, Who Preyed Upon One of America’s Most Vulnerable Populations
April 30, 2024 – Paramount+ announced today that the three-part docuseries PILLOWCASE MURDERS will premiere exclusively on the service, beginning Tuesday, May 14. Directed by true-crime filmmaker Randy Ferrell, the series reveals how an unknown serial killer, Billy Chemirmir, preyed upon the residents of high-end retirement communities and left a trail of death and devastation in his wake.
When dozens of women enjoying their golden years unexpectedly died at Senior Living Communities across the Dallas area, authorities classified the deaths as natural causes. No one suspected that a cold-blooded, serial killer, posing as a maintenance man, was targeting one of the most vulnerable populations: elderly women. PILLOWCASE MURDERS unravels how Chemirmir operated undetected for nearly two years, exploiting a demographic that’s often forgotten.
Over the three episodes, the series uncovers the shocking oversights and security failures that allowed the killer to pursue his reign of terror unimpeded. The victims’ families felt doubly tormented – at the hands of the killer and by the people they entrusted to protect their loved ones. Only a few individuals, including the victims’ daughters, security guards and a dedicated, observant group of Plano police officers, were able to pull the fractured pieces together that eventually uncovered the monster among them – one who stalked and violently smothered dozens of victims with their own pillows. Once the horrific truth came to light – that these women didn’t die of natural causes – outraged family members demanded justice and accountability from those who stood by and did nothing as the body count rose.
PILLOWCASE MURDERS is directed by Randy Ferrell. Executive producers are David Karabinas, Brad Bernstein, James Macnab, Loni Coombs and Randy Ferrell. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong executive produce, and Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers.

April 26, 2024– Paramount+ today announced that the all-new original film APARTMENT 7A, a psychological thriller starring Golden Globe winner Julia Garner (Ozark) and directed by Natalie Erika James (Relic), will premiere this fall exclusively on Paramount+ in the US and in select international markets. Set in 1965 New York City, the film tells the story prior to the legendary horror classic Rosemary’s Baby, exploring what happened in the Bramford before Rosemary moved in.
When a struggling, young dancer (Garner) suffers a devastating injury, she finds herself drawn in by dark forces when a peculiar, well-connected, older couple promises her a shot at fame.
The film also stars two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest (MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN), Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe) and Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Caribbean film series). Additional supporting cast includes Marli Siu (Everything I Know About Love), Andrew Buchan (All the Money in the World), Rosy McEwen (Blue Jean) and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Wonka).

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender has been renewed for seasons two and three.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is on a roll these days. Not only is the franchise eyeing the release of its first animated movie, but a live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon's beloved animated series recently became a hit on Netflix, prompting the streaming service to renew the show for two more seasons. Following the success of the first season of Netflix's live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of its execs is addressing rumors of a live-action The Legend of Korra adaptation.
The whole thing went down recently when the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender hit up PaleyFest 2024. It was there The Direct heard from Jabbar Raisani, one of the show's executive producers, and they had this to say about interest in a potential Korra adaptation:
"Certainly, I'd be interested in anything that is in this [Avatar] universe."
Of course, it isn't too surprising to hear about the interest in a Legend of Korra adaptation. The sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender was released in April 2012 some years after the original series ended. With four seasons, or "Books", to its name, The Legend of Korra was a quiet hit to start. Set in a more modern era, the animated series dealt with complex topics ranging from terrorism to adolescent romance and political propaganda. Its inclusion of LGBTQIA+ romance was also groundbreaking at the time, so The Legend of Korra has quite a pedigree behind it.
If Netflix were to adapt the animated sequel, well – it would be awhile. Its live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender has completed book one, but it has two more to go. Netflix has already ordered seasons two and three in hopes of completing the show's acclaimed run. So if you haven't checked out the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender, you can find it streaming now on Netflix.
Viacom18 and Paramount Global have launched Nickelodeon's 2023 rebrand on their Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels in India. The rebrand reimagines Nickelodeon's iconic splat logo and slime with a fresh new design, and includes new on-air graphics, such as lower-thirds, updated BUG/DOG, bumpers, idents, and promos. Both channels' official websites - nickindia.com and nickjrindia.com - have also been updated to incorporate their respective new logos. Interestingly, with most Nickelodeon channels adopting the "Nickelodeon" logo, Nick India is keeping its short-form name, "Nick". At the time of posting, Nick India's spin-off channels, Nickelodeon HD+ and Nickelodeon Sonic, have not rebranded to the Splat look.
The brand refresh went live on Nickelodeon in the U.S. last year, and has since rolled out onto Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels globally. As of writing, there is only a handful of of Nickelodeon channels still to introduce the refresh, including Nickelodeon Greece and Nickelodeon Pakistan.

February 8, 2024 – Paramount+ today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming original event series KNUCKLES, the latest in the “Cinematic World of Sonic the Hedgehog,” from Paramount Pictures and SEGA of America. It was also announced that all six episodes of the series will be available to stream on Friday, April 26, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada; the following day, April 27, in all additional Paramount+ territories; and in Japan later this year. New teaser art and first-look series photography are also now available.
In addition to today’s official trailer, on Sunday, Feb. 11, an all-new KNUCKLES spot will debut during the CBS Television Network’s Super Bowl LVIII pregame broadcast. The KNUCKLES Super Bowl spot will also be featured in Nickelodeon’s special kids and family broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII, where Knuckles and some friends will make a surprise appearance.
The new live-action event series follows Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3.
In addition to Elba starring as the titular character, Adam Pally reprises his role from the film franchise as Wade Whipple. The ensemble cast includes guest stars Stockard Channing (The West Wing), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up), Ellie Taylor (Ted Lasso), Julian Barratt (Mindhorn), Rory McCann (Game of Thrones), Cary Elwes (MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – DEAD RECKONING), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Paul Scheer (Black Monday), and Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital). Special guest star Ben Schwartz will reprise his role as Sonic, as well as special guest star Tika Sumpter, reprising her role as Maddie. Colleen O’Shaughnessey will also return as a special guest star in her role as Tails.
All of the key creative team from the previous films have returned for the series, including the films’ director/executive producer Jeff Fowler, who directed the pilot episode and helped transition the film's signature cinematic animation style to television, as well as Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, John Whittington and Toru Nakahara, who serve as executive producers along with Idris Elba. Additional directors for the series include Ged Wright, Brandon Trost, Jorma Taccone and Carol Banker.
The series was created for television by John Whittington and Toby Ascher, who is showrunning during production. Whittington, who wrote SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2, serves as head writer and wrote the pilot for the series. Additional series writers include Brian Schacter and James Madejski.
The combined global box office for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 stands at $725.2 million. On Paramount+, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 is the top-performing Kids & Family film on the service in reach and is also one of the service’s most re-watched films. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 will be released in theaters on Dec 20th, 2024.
