The heroes in a half shell are ready to take fans on their next big adventure! Paramount+ is set to premiere Season 2 of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – the hit animated series from the universe of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem – on the streaming service on Friday, December 12, and to celebrate, the official TMNT Instagram page has unveiled a first look at season two's opening episode, "Mutant Battle Arena"! Check it out below!
In the season two premiere episode, Raph's brothers just don't get him. He NEEDS to fight! He's good at it too, according to his new trainer Spuds. But even though they don't see eye to eye, the Turtles must work together to stop a rampaging Bebop and Rocksteady from wrecking the city!
The recently released trailer gives fans a first look at what’s next for Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello as they face fresh threats and new allies in a city that’s more alive – and mutating – than ever. Tales of the TMNT is produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures.
Season 2 is stacked with an epic guest star lineup, including Kieran Culkin as Jordan Perry, Craig Robinson as Spud, Seth Rogen as Bebop, Ralph Ineson as Rahzar, Peter Stormare as Tokka, Fred Armisen as Scratch, Heidi Gardner as Maude, and Ike Barinholtz as Tood, plus influencers BenOfTheWeek and InquisitorMaster.
Returning guest stars include Pete Davidson as Rod, Post Malone as Ray Filet, and Rose Byrne as Leatherhead.
The second half of season one will also be making its linear TV debut, with new episodes of Tales of the TMNT airing Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT), respectively, starting Saturday, December 13 on Nickelodeon.
The trailer’s debut in October kicked off a larger celebration: the launch of World of TMNT, a bold new initiative uniting the entire TMNT universe – past, present and future – under one shell.
“With the launch of World of TMNT, we’re inviting fans to experience the full power of the franchise like never before,” said Rebecca Mall, President, Cross Company Initiatives, Franchise, and Corporate Marketing, Paramount. “This is more than nostalgia. It’s a bold celebration of every era of Turtle storytelling. From comics to screen to collectibles, TMNT continues to evolve while staying true to the heart of what makes these heroes so iconic.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 — Lost in New Jersey
The heroes in a half shell are back — but this time, they’re stranded across the river.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 — Lost in New Jersey, directed by Kent Seki, takes the beloved characters out of their comfort zone and drops them into an unlikely setting. Mixing slapstick humor, gritty animation and unexpected heart, the short film follows the turtles as they attempt to navigate the Garden State after a mishap sends them far from their New York roots.
