Co-produced by UK-based Random House and Komixx Entertaiment, the 52 x 10-minute series will debut in the UK on Channel 5's Milkshake! preschool programming block this Autumn/Fall (2013). The Nickelodeon deal marks the first key international agreement for "Wanda and the Alien" and a large step for Random House's first book-to-screen venture.
The animated series is based on the books written by children's author and illustrator Sue Hendra. The show will begin airing on Nick channels in late 2014:

Nickelodeon has picked up Random House Children’s Screen Entertainment’s Wanda and the Alien under a global deal (excluding the US) with London-based distributor CAKE that will see the new preschool series head to more than 70 Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels.
