The Sandbox hosted a 65th-anniversary celebration of The Smurfs on their virtual platform beginning October 23, 2023, and culminating at the end of the year with the launch of a new avatar collection. Celebrations will feature two events with over ten experiences, beginning with The Smurfs Anniversary Party in October followed by Entanglement, a massive treasure hunt. The event will lead the players across the metaverse to collect clues, including fun experiences from the Smurfs.
