- Hojo Shin, who plays Min Ho’s half brother Jiwon, has also been upped to a series regular.

- If the name Marius sounds familiar, it is because there is some lore there.Season 2 ended with Kitty and Min Ho busting Stella aka Esther (Audry Huynh) for trying to ruin Min Ho’s dad’s career. The talent competition crowned Eunice winner and recipient of the opportunity to open for Jiwon’s world tour. Kitty asked to join Min Ho on the tour very spur-of-the-moment. Q revealed he was recruited to USC’s summer track program.

- The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise is based on creator and executive producer Jenny Han’s novels of the same name.

- Valentina Garza took over as showrunner for Season 3. Jessica O’Toole helmed Season 2.

- Seasons one and two of XO, Kitty, along with the To All The Boys movies, were produced by Awesomeness Studios, which has now been merged into Paramount Television Studios.

What happened in XO, Kitty Season 2?

Season 2 ended with Kitty getting her scholarship renewed so she can come back to KISS for senior year. She also fulfilled her late mother’s wishes by reuniting her fractured family, discovering relatives she never even knew existed.

And, much to her surprise, this teen matchmaker fell for her ex-boyfriend’s best friend, Min Ho, ticking off almost every trope on the rom-com checklist as they went from enemies to friends to could-be lovers. Though their slow-burn romance is still simmering, Kitty asks Min Ho to wait before they part ways for the summer.

Season 2 of the K-drama premiered on Jan. 16, 2025 and debuted at No. 2 on the English TV List with 14.2 million views. The young adult romantic comedy, produced by Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment, appeared in the Top 10 in 89 countries in its first week. The release also inspired viewers to revisit Season 1 (which resurfaced on the English TV List at No. 6 with 3.1 million views) and the original 2018 To All the Boys film the week after Season 2’s release (which reappeared at No. 6 on the English films list with 3.1 million views).
