Fans Worry That Mr. Krabs Has Died After New 'SpongeBob' Fan-Fic Does the Rounds

A random Creepypasta-esque document is making the rounds on the internet leading some SpongeBob SquarePants fans to believe Mr. Krabs has been killed off.

A PDF titled The Trial of SpongeBob SquarePants has hit the internet, depicting the crime scene of the death of Mr. Krabs, the owner of the Krusty Krab dining establishment where SpongeBob works in the show.

The document begins with Mr. Krabs being found dead inside his restaurant, and the coroner concluding that his death was caused by a metal spatula. SpongeBob, Plankton and Squidward are all named as potential suspects for Krabs' murder.

In the proceeding 'trial,' SpongeBob's friends, including Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks provide their witness testimonies.

Sandy testifies that SpongeBob was desperately in need of money because the bank was going to repossess his pineapple house, while Patrick said that SpongeBob told him, “Mr. Krabs is a greedy pig. He’s gonna wish he’d given me a raise!”

Although Plankton began selling crab burgers following Krabs' death, he affirmed in the fictional that he did not steal Mr. Krabs’s Krabby Patty secret formula and that he did not kill Mr. Krabs.

Squidward allegedly saw SpongeBob enter the Krusty Krab restaurant two hours before Mr. Krabs was found dead.

There was no conclusion to the document.

The PDF originates from SPS186.org, which is the website for Springfield, Illinois public school District 186. It could be thought that The Trial of SpongeBob SquarePants is a school project or fan-fiction that has accidentally-turned-viral. At the moment, it's safe to presume that Mr. Krabs is alive and well in the beloved Nickelodeon series.

This wouldn't be the first disturbing fan-fiction written about SpongeBob SquarePants - a creepypasta story tells of “Squidward’s Suicide." The fan-fic has become so infamous that an episode of SpongeBob even referenced a scene from it.

Ithaca College Junior Pens New 'Victorious' Fan Fiction '7 Years Later'

A junior at Ithaca College, a liberal arts college in Ithaca, New York and fan fiction author who goes by the pen name Kashikoi-kun recently penned a new fan fiction inspired by Nickelodeon's hit comedy series Victorious and the on-going COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

Titled 7 Years Later, the fan-fic reimagines characters from Victorious as Ithaca College graduates who reunite after Cat Valentine’s (Ariana Grande) grandmother dies of COVID-19. Kashikoi-kun wrote the fan fiction after losing one of his own relatives to COVID-19.

"7 years after high school, Cat's grandma dies from COVID-19. The funeral reunites a washed-up Tori with her successful, ex-friends." reads the synopsis.

“It kind of helps me move on or grieve in a creative way and help others hopefully with the same process,” Kashikoi-kun told The Ithacan.

Kashikoi-kun said that he’s noticed an increase in fan fictions being read and written on the internet since the pandemic began. He said 7 Years Later receives approximately 100 views a day, and his other fan fictions have also spiked in readership.

“I feel like creative people are just spending more time writing and creating other forms of art, whether it be fan fictions or scripts,” Kashikoi-kun said. “People just don’t have much to do, and, when you have more views, for some writers that motivates them to write more.”

Kashikoi-kun's Victorious fan-fiction is available to read at https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13664159/1/7-Years-Later.

Nickelodeon's Victorious revolves around aspiring singer Tori Vega (Victoria Justice), a teenager who attends a performing arts high school called Hollywood Arts High School, after taking her older sister Trina's (Daniella Monet) place in a showcase, while getting into screwball situations on a daily basis. On her first day at Hollywood Arts, she meets Andre Harris (Leon Thomas III), Robbie Shapiro (Matt Bennett), Rex Powers (Robbie's puppet), Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies), Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), and Beck Oliver (Avan Jogia). The series aired for 57 episodes over four seasons between 2010 and 2013, and led to the spin-off Sam & Cat, with Jennette McCurdy's character, Sam Puckett from iCarly.

The cast of Victorious recently reunited virtually to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.

Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie takes the kids on the field trip of a lifetime: action packed and full of adventure! They’ll join Arnold on a quest in which he’ll try to achieve his ultimate dream and finally find his missing parents. It all starts when Arnold and his classmates take a trip to San Lorenzo, South America, which, coincidentally, is the last place Arnold’s parents were seen! Their trip takes a turn when pirates kidnap Arnold and his friends! From there it’s one jungle hazard after another, and the gang must put their heads together to get out of danger. As the leader of the journey, Arnold must make sure he and his friends survive safely, all while working towards a reunion he’s dreamt of his whole life!

The two-hour TV movie features a storyline that picks up from where the original series ended in the "The Journal" in 2004 and resolves unanswered questions and plotlines-including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents, Arnold's last name, and how Arnold feels about Helga! The movie is co-written and executive produced by the series’ original creator Craig Bartlett and produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, Calif.

Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie is slated to premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Thursday 23rd November 2017, as part of the networks Thanksgiving celebrations.

Online at nick.com/heyarnold, fans can find out more about the movie and watch exclusive video clips from the film.

Leading up to the movie, Nickelodeon will host a special panel titled “Hey Arnold!: From Hillwood to the Jungle!” at New York Comic Con 2017 that will feature creator Craig Bartlett and voice actors from the original series, including Lane Toran (Arnold), Francesca Marie Smith (Helga), Anndi McAfee (Phoebe) and Olivia Hack (Rhonda), as well as a exclusive sneak peek at the TV movie. The panel will take place on Friday, October 6th at 12:15 PM ET/PT in the Hammerstein Ballroom (311 W 34th St). The Cast Of Nickelodeon's "Hey Arnold!" All Grown Up

London's Metro News has imagined what the characters from the popular Classic Nickelodeon original animated series Hey Arnold! would look like grown up!

Hey Arnold! originally ran between 1996 and 2004 and focused on a football-headed fourth-grader who lived with his grandparents in a boarding house. The series quickly became one of Nickelodeon's most popular Nicktoons.

When the show aired, the lead character (and football head), Arnold, was nine years old, which means he’d be 29 now.

In tribute, Metro.co.uk has thought about what Arnold and co would be doing today, and worked with one of their illustrators, Dave Anderson, to create these. Here's what Metro News think the stars of Hey Arnold! would look like now!:

Arnold Shortman:

Arnold is working in Silicon Valley, where he cycles to his job as a social media officer for a poorly-funded humanitarian charity.

He tries to bench in his spare time but is struggling to get the Instagram body he desires.

He still plays the harmonica, but now he does it ironically in a folk band called Sunset Arms.

Sadly Phil and Gertie have passed on, and he used the money they left him to fund a short-lived career touring his band round the States.

He has a girlfriend called May, who looks suspiciously like Lila Sawyer, who he met while studying social science at college.

In his free time Arnold plays Uncharted 4 against Gerald, while May watches Keeping Up With The Kardashians in their tiny house share.

He still isn’t sure about Helga.

Helga Pataki from Hey Arnold! as imagined 20 years on (Picture: Dave Anderson for Metro.co.uk)

Helga is working on the Republican campaign and plans to be the first female president, because she thinks Hilary Clinton is too soft, although she approves of her pants suits.

She is still followed round by Brain, who has become hench thanks to a worrying amount of protein shakes, and is now her bodyguard.

Sometimes Helga stalks Arnold on social media (but doesn’t write anything, obviously) but only when she’s bored.

It will be a cold day in heck before she wears a pink ribbon again.

Rhonda Wellington Lloyd

Rhonda is now a fashion blogger, because of course she is.

She has a combined following of 2.5million and only works with brands she really believes match her core values.

That cold-pressed coffee shop you think is the coolest? She used to go there – about two years ago.

Harold Berman:

Harold from Hey Arnold! as imagined 20 years on (Picture: Dave Anderson for Metro.co.uk)

The boy who began as the bully of the show now runs a used car business.

He is married to Lisa, a girl he met in High School, and they have two daughters – Harriet, who’s as quiet and subtle as her Dad is loud, and Dee, who’s obsessed with DC Comics.

Gerald Martin Johanssen:

Gerald from Hey Arnold! as imagined 20 years on (Picture: Dave Anderson for Metro.co.uk)

Arnold's best friend has moved from Hillwood to Miami, where he runs a night club called Urban Legend.

As in the show, he is still a ladies’ man, although he has put on weight following years of excess on the local scene.

He and Arnold grew apart when they went to different universities, but almost every year they get together for a lads’ weekend with Stinky Pete and Sid.

Nickelodeon are currently making a brand-new two-part Hey Arnold! TV movie! Slated to premiere on Nickelodeon USA in November 2017, the television movie will feature a storyline that picks up from where the original series ended in 2004 and will resolve unanswered questions and plotlines - including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents. Craig Bartlett returns as writer and executive producer of the new film, which is being produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California. The movie is also speculated to feature original voice actors Marie Smith, Anndi McAfee and Olivia Hack.

Nickelodeon And Tongal.com Launch "What Does Nicktoons Mean To You?" Contest

To celebrate 25 Years of Nicktoons, Nickelodeon has teamed up with Tongal.com to launch a brand-new contest in which one lucky fan could win $60,000 by showing Nick and Tongal what Nicktoons means to them!

Since 1991, Nickelodeon has produced some of the most memorable, inventive, and kid-inspired animated shows in the history of television. You know them as Nicktoons.

In 2016, Nickelodeon will celebrate 25 years of Nicktoons (YAY!), as well as the creators who brought to life their legendary shows, and of course, their legion of passionate fans throughout the world – YOU!

Think you might fit into this category? Do you remember the very first original Nicktoons – "The Ren and Stimpy Show" and "Rugrats"?! Do you know who lives in a Pineapple under the sea? Do you still smell pizza when you hear the word "Cowabunga!"? Are you currently obsessed with "Pig Goat Banana Cricket"?

For the past 25 years, Nicktoons has created meaningful, inspired and artistically adventurous animation for kids, and in 25 years from now, Gen Z will more than likely be talking about today's collection of Nicktoons with the same passion.

Because Nickelodeon knows there are certain theme songs, characters, worlds and stories that stay with you forever, they want to hear from YOU - the fans, the creators, those who grew up with Nicktoons and still have a deep adoration for the classics - and from the current kid audience today!

The goal of this project is for fans to create fun and shareable videos, up to 120-seconds in length, that celebrates Nicktoons and what they mean to them. Tell Nickelodeon and Tongal.com your favorite Nicktoons memories, share how current Nicktoons have an impact on you today, or go wild and make a super-creative fan-art project that's an homage to your favorite Nicktoon!

Nickelodeon is open to seeing live action, animation, stop-motion animation, docu-style, mixed-media, parody videos, musical interpretations, video listicles, and just about any way you want to bring your Story to life in the most creative way.

So, tap into your inner-child. Think creatively about how you can craft a video that celebrates everything you love about Nicktoons. Perhaps a certain Nicktoon has inspired your career, your style, your love life? Share your story!

Although you will not be able to use any original media from these shows, Nick invites you to create your own renditions/versions of the characters, settings and props from the properties mentioned below. The Casts Of Nickelodeon's Classic Nicktoons "Rugrats" And "Hey Arnold!" All Grown Up

The British national daily newspaper 'The Guardian' is reporting in the following article from the 'Art and Design' column on their official website, guardian.co.uk, the fantastic Nicktoons news that Omaha, Nebraska-based artist Celeste Pille has imagined what the characters from the popular Classic Nickelodeon original animated shows "Rugrats" and "Hey Arnold!" would look like grown up! Apparently, "Hey Arnold!" creator Craig Bartlett was alerted to Pille's work by "The Simpsons" and "Futurama" creator Matt Groening. Both are said to be fans of her work.

Gerald Johanssen from Hey Arnold!

"Currently pursuing a master's degree in political science"

Helga Pataki from Hey Arnold!

"English major, recently hired as a social media manager after one year living at home and another year spent in a thankless, penniless internship".

Charles "Chuckie" Finster from Rugrats

"Channelled his anxiety into writing and performing, and now finds himself a burgeoning slam poetry superstar. During the day you'll find him coaching forensics".

Kimi Finster from Rugrats

"Journalism major recently accepted into Stanford's Documentary and Film Master of Fine Arts programme. Her video project on blended families and cultures made for a standout portfolio. She eagerly anticipates the amount of travel her career will demand and looks forward to many collaborative projects with Tommy Pickles".

Angelica Pickles from Rugrats

"Angelica went on to internet fame for her terrible song, Weekend, and its even more terrible music video (produced by Ark Music Factory and paid for by her parents), and just when everyone thought her 15 minutes were up she leveraged her awesomely bad song's popularity into a reality show on Bravo called Fallen Angelica. She may not be a good singer, but she's shrewd, ambitious and makes for incredibly quotable television"

Arnold from Hey Arnold!

"Philosophy major, currently working on his certification in professional building design. Builds/designs furniture in his spare time".

Susie Carmichael from Rugrats

"Susie attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She has achieved critical acclaim for her experimental art rock, dance-punk music, and looks forward to writing concept albums in each of the 10 languages in which she is fluent".

Tommy Pickles from Rugrats

"Tommy is honing his skills in mountain climbing, scuba diving, and paragliding to become a master at wildlife photography. He aspires to be a regular contributor to National Geographic and plans to abseil into an active volcano in the near future to capture the terrifying beauty of lava lakes".

What do you think of Celeste Pille's imaginings for the casts of classic Nicktoons "Hey Arnold!" and "Rugrats"? What do you imagine the cast characters look and be up to all grown up? Let The Daily Nick know what you think on Twitter, Tumblr, Google+ and/or Facebook!
