Update (24/3) - It looks like the premiere of Glitch Techs! Foxtel, Nickelodeon's Australian carrier, is reporting that Glitch Techs will premiere on Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand on Sunday 7th April 2019 at 8:00am (AEDT), and that episode one is titled "Age of Hinobi Pt.1"! I've attached a screenshot below (second image) of the listing.

Something Glitchy This Way Comes.. Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand will premiere Glitch Techs, Nickelodeon's brand-new animated adventure-comedy series that follows two newly recruited kids as they battle video game monsters that come to life in the real world, on Sunday 7th April 2019 at 7:00am (AEDT)! Following boot up, new episodes of Glitch Techs will continue to air Sundays at 7:00am (AEDT) on Nick AU/NZ. The news was first announced by New Zealand television provider SKY New Zealand.
This brand new animated series features High Five and Miko, two gamers who are recruited into the world of Glitch Techs: kids who battle the video game glitches that enter our world through faulty game consoles!
In the world of Glitch Techs, Hinobi is a huge gaming and tech company that makes massively popular video games consoles. What Hinobi customers do NOT know is that their games sometimes glitch and release dangerous video game creatures into the real world! That’s when the company send the Glitch Techs: a trained support team equipped with an arsenal of fantastic gaming gear designed to capture video game pests and out them back where they belong!
Once a glitch is returned, the Techs must remove any evidence it was there – including the memories of any witnesses! Not only do Glitch Techs fight for the safety of the city, they also work at Hinobi stores, helping customers with tech support and service needs.
Enter Miko and high Five – new recruits who fight glitches and reformat witnesses all before the store closes at 5pm. Talk about a crazy job!
Glitch Techs comes from Eric Robles (Fanboy & Chum Chum, The X's, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan) and Dan Milano (Greg the Bunny, Warren the Ape), both hailing from Nickelodeon's Artist Collective, an internal artist-led development program, and is produced at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif. Nickelodeon has picked-up Glitch Techs for an initial 20-episode first season. A second season has been commissioned.
Glitch Techs will boast a multi-ethnic cast, including a Muslim-American female character who will wear a hijab. At a industry panel held late last year, the co-creators explained that when they were developing Glitch Techs, they “recognized the need to incorporate characters reflective of the viewing audience, whether they are background characters or main characters,” and revealed that they had worked with MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council) to “figure out how to accurately display an authenticity, even down to little behaviors.” Dan Milano further elaborated, “Even though we’re an animated show and they are trying to catch creatures, we want small things. We want to know that a stray hair came out of that hijab, and she had to tuck it behind her ear because that’s a human moment, that’s a practical moment, from everyday life.”
It was recently announced that Emmy-award winning actor Bryton James (Winx Club, The Young and the Restless) will be voicing a character in Nickelodeon Glitch Techs.

Bradenton, Florida - Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol is on a roll! The Florida State League’s Bradenton Marauders has announced the PAWsome news that the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates will host a Nickelodeon Night featuring Paw Patrol on Saturday, April 20 when the Marauders face off against Jupiter Hammerheads. The baseball game will take place at the Marauders' home field, LECOM Park, with the first ball being pitched at 6:30 p.m.
The night will feature character appearances by PAW Patrol's very own Chase and Marshall and a Paw Patrol-themed Jersey Auction, as well as a Kids Pre-Game Easter Egg Hunt, Adult Easter Egg Hunt benefiting the Humane Society of Manatee County, and Post-Game Fireworks sponsored by Budweiser.

Nickelodeon's all-new buddy comedy series, Cousins For Life, will premiere on Nickelodeon Brazil (Brasil) on Saturday 6th April 2019 at 18:30! The series will also air on Nickelodeon Chile. The live-action series follows 12-year-old cousins and best friends Stuart (Dallas Dupree Young) and Ivy (Scarlet Spencer) as they learn to navigate life under one roof with their families in Portland, despite being from very different backgrounds. Although the cousins don’t always see eye-to-eye, they learn that they are better together, and when they team up they are unstoppable. Following launch, new episodes of Cousins For Life, locally titled Primos Para Sempre in Brazil, will continue to air regularly on Nickelodeon Brasil.
In the premiere episode, "Movin' In" ("De Mudança"; #101), Ivy and Stuart’s life is disrupted after their dads, Clark (Ishmel Sahid) and Lewis (Ron G.), have a disagreement and Clark ends up moving into their hangout space in the garage. It’s now their missions to resolve their dads’ argument and reclaim their space. The episode also stars Micah Abbey as Ivy’s brother Leaf, who’s always having a good time when he’s with his pet pig, Arthur (Sally Sue).
Cousins For Life will launch as part of a day of premieres on Nickelodeon Brazil, which also includes brand-new episodes of:

Canal anunciou programação especial para abril
A Nickelodeon anunciou uma programação especial para seu aniversário de 40 anos este mês, incluindo episódios inéditos de séries como Bob Esponja, Tainá e Os Guardiões da Amazônia e Sunny Day.
Esta semana, Bob Esponja terá seu episódio inédito transmitido no dia 6, às 18h; já O Despertar das Tartarugas Ninja ganha um novo capítulo no mesmo dia, às 14h10 e Tainá e os Guardiões da Amazônia terá dois episódios novos transmitidos também no dia 6, a partir das 12h20. As séries devem ganhar mais episódios inéditos até o fim do mês, com horários que ainda serão confirmados.
Além disso, a Nickelodeon terá a estreia de duas atrações novas: a animação nacional Bobolândia Monstrolândia (já lançado, com exibição todas as segundas, às 11h) e o live-action Primos para Sempre (6 de abril, às 18h30).

Avatar: The Last Airbender writer Aaron Ehasz has revealed that a possible season 4 of Nickelodeon's beloved animated series was sidelined for M. Night Shyamalan's movie adaptation, The Last Airbender.
Premiering in 2005 and running for three seasons, eventually concluding in 2008, Avatar: The Last Airbender became a fan-favorite animated series among viewers young and old. Avatar told the story of a young Airbender named Aang who learns he's the Avatar - the one person in the whole world who can master Airbending, Waterbending, Earthbending and Firebending. However, after 100 years away from the world, Aang awakes to learn a great war was started in his absence and he journeys to learn the other forms of bending and take his place as the Avatar.
The award-winning Nickelodeon series was well received among critics and casual viewers alike. It was popular enough that the story continued in comic book form as well as the spinoff series The Legend of Korra, which follows the Avatar after Aang. Further, season 1 of Avatar: The Last Airbender was adapted to live-action in the form of M. Night Shyamalan's 2010 movie, The Last Airbender. However, The Last Airbender was critically panned and failed to live up to the expectations of the animated show's fans. Now, one of the series' original writers reveals Avatar almost continued for a fourth season, but that was scrapped in favor of the film.
On Twitter, former Avatar: The Last Airbender head writer Aaron Ehasz - who currently works on the Netflix series he co-created, The Dragon Prince - talked about about one of his bigger regrets in not continuing the Avatar saga on television, and revealed (on April 1, though he insists it’s not an April Fool’s joke) that the potential season 4 would have given Azula a redemption arc. The younger sister of Fire Nation crown prince Zuko, Azula was introduced as an antagonist in season 2 and defeated by Katara and Zuko in the series finale. Azula was brought to her lowest point in the series finale, after spending most of the show trying and failing to live up to their father’s impossible expectations. According to Ehasz, Zuko would have been instrumental to Azula's redemption arc, helping and supporting his sister the way his Uncle Iroh did for him in the early seasons. Longer and far more complicated than Zuko's. She had not bottomed in the end of season 3, she had further to go. At the deepest moment in her own abyss she would have found: Zuko.
That’s how she would have gotten out, and changed. With the faith and love of someone she had hurt, but who stuck by her anyway. Just as he had been saved by faith and love from someone he had hurt, but who stuck by him.
And I always imagined that after coming out the other side, she would be one of those people who hilariously over-shares her own feelings all the time, and that she would be a bit over-apologetic. Like a Canadian version of Azula.
Ehasz also revealed that he’d “discussed” season four with showrunners Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.
After the initial thread, Ehasz answered fan questions on Twitter, in particular about this arc would have fit into the initial plan for the series, which showrunners Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko had previously stated always included three seasons. However, Ehasz revealed there was a point in production when the show's writers believed they would do a fourth season, but Shyamalan's movie was given the green light and the showrunners decided to revert back to their original plan of three seasons.
Ehasz had previously described the fourth season idea as a brief discussion prompted by Nickelodeon, but now is saying it seemed (at the time) like an actual plan to him, and he’d “always believed there would be a fourth season.”
Though to be clear, M Night wanted us to do a 4th season, but Mike and Bryan wanted to focus on the movie.
They originally planned on 3. We discussed a 4th and seemed like we were going to do it. Then M Night came and they reverted to original plan. That’s what happened!
One of the things that made Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender so special was how well it told its story in just the right amount of time, using three seasons to take us through Aang’s journey, however, fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender are no doubt disappointed to hear that the TV show likely would have had a fourth season if not for Shyamalan's movie. According to Ehasz, Shyamalan actually did support them doing a fourth season, but the showrunners wanted to focus on the live-action film (they were executive producers on the project).
Though the film has its fans, it's largely viewed as a blight on the otherwise well-regarded property. Certainly in hindsight, many fans would no doubt prefer Avatar: The Last Airbender season 4 to The Last Airbender. But, for those interested in the further adventures of Aang, Zuko, Azula and the rest of the show's main characters, their story does continue in a series of graphic novels published by Dark Horse Comics.
Azula’s story was expanded in the subsequent Avatar graphic novels, which explored her mental health issues and strained relationship with Zuko. She tried, but ultimately failed, to walk a new path—finding that disappearing from Zuko’s life was the best thing she could do, only to later show up and try to corrupt Zuko so he’d become a dictator like their father.
Further, a new live-action take on Avatar: The Last Airbender is coming to Netflix, with Nickelodeon and original showrunners DiMartino and Konietzko on board to shepherd the series, plus original show composer Jeremy Zuckerman also on board to score the series. With DiMartino and Konietzko involved with this particular live-action adaptation, it's sure to be much more faithful to the original animated show than Shyamalan's film - they have already promised not to make the same mistakes as the movie, including having a culturally appropriate, non-whitewashed cast. Plus, with a whole new format and platform set for this new Avatar: The Last Airbender project, the showrunners have room to explore new story beats, so perhaps fans will get to see Azula's redemption in live-action. That is, of course, if Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender continues on long enough.
