Anna Williamson Reunites with 'Camp Orange' UK Contestant Georgia Steel on 'Celebs Go Dating' Season 6 | Nickelodeon UK

British reality television dating programme Celebs Go Dating recently announced season six's new star studded line up, and revealed that Anna Williamson would be replacing Nadia Essex as a dating agent.

Anna Williamson and Georgia Steel previously knew each other [Instagram/ Anna Williamson]

The former Nickelodeon UK & Ireland presenter and This Morning & Good Morning Britain (GMB) relationship expert and Paul C Brunson will be helping the likes of Love Island's Georgia Steel, Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona, The Only Way Is Essex's Pete Wicks, Megan McKenna, Ibiza Weekender's head rep David Potts, Waterloo Road and and Hollyoaks actor Chelsee Healey to find love.

However, speaking to OK! online, new coach Anna revealed that it wasn't the first time she had met one of the famous faces!

Georgia Steel previously appeared on Nickelodeon show Camp Orange [Nickelodeon]

Confessing that she had previously worked with Love Island star Georgia on Nickelodeon TV show Camp Orange when she was a teenager, Anna said that initially it was strange to see her walking into the agency.

Georgia was part of Team Yorky Corkies in the first series of Camp Orange UK, Nickelodeon's game show in which friends teamed up to take on the ultimate 'bush' challenge (Georgia teamed up with her BFF Elsie Cussons), in 2011. Anna hosted the series Jamie Rickers.

"Georgia’s an interesting one for me, she was actually the first celebrity I met joining the agency," Anna said. "When she walked in I sort of had a bit of an eye roll, like oh my god, here we go.

"I’d known her from a previous show in my kids telly days when she was a fresh faced teenager. She is now all grown up. It's a bit like mumma's come home".

Admitting that her previous working relationship with Georgia meant that she treated her differently from the other stars, Anna continued: "I’m probably even more strict with Georgia, because we go back. She’s a good girl but she’s got some work to do.

She added: "I think Georgia’s brilliant, she’s beautiful and certainly one of the most confident people I’ve ever met. Even when she was 13 confidence was something that was in her bones.

"I think we need to draw out that little soft marshmallow that was inside."

Anna also opened up about her connection to Georgia on social media, as she took to Instagram on her first day at the Celebrity Dating Agency and shared a selfie with the reality starlet.

Posing with her mouth open in disbelief, Anna wrote: "Now THIS is a blast from the past...it feels like only yesterday I was wrangling a 13 year old @geesteelx on @nickelodeonuk #camporange...

"And today we're reunited for @celebsgodating where I'll be helping guide this now young lady in love #blastfromthepast #ifeelold".

Discussing how excited she was to be guiding Georgia and the rest of the stars in their quest for love, Anna added to OK! online: "To be able to get the call and come on board with Celebs Go Dating was a dream come true. I’m so, so honoured.

"I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet, because it’s a big show and people have a lot of love for it. I just really want to do the show and the viewers justice."

Celebs Go Dating series six is slated to premiere on E4 in 2019. Previous contestants on the show include Diversity crew member and fellow Nickelodeon UK presenter Perri Kiely. Mottingham comedian Rob Beckett narrates.

Georgia appeared on the 2018 series of Love Island with another Nickelodeon star: Eyal Booker, one of the models in Nickelodeon UK & Ireland's Nick@Nite idents!:

Kiwi "Camp Orange: Force 10" Contestant Talks About Game Shows Upcoming Tenth Season

The Bay of Plenty Times, the regional daily paper for the Bay of Plenty, a region of New Zealand, has unveiled a exclusive article about Te Puke residents Kaharoa (or Kaha) Takuira-Mita and Zion Nicholas, two 'Kiwi Cuzzies' who will be one of the five teams who will be taking part in this years brand-new series of "Camp Orange", season 10, called "Camp Orange: Force 10", which Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand will start to premiere and show from Tuesday 10th June 2014 at 5:30pm!

As part of the article, 12-year-old Kaha talks about what inspired the Kiwi cousins to audition for "Camp Orange 2014", what it was like to film "Camp Orange: Force 10" at Sea World Gold Coast in Australia, and what happened when they got back home:
Kids bring Kiwi flavour to Oz show

Te Puke cousins Kaharoa (or Kaha) Takuira-Mita and Zion Nicholas will feature on a Nickelodeon reality TV show starting next month after beating thousands of hopefuls for a spot on it.

Camp Orange is a reality game show that brings best friends together and celebrates kids being kids in the great outdoors.

Focusing on positive fair play, teams compete for cool prizes and experiences but ultimately aim to be voted "Champ Orange", awarded to the best and fairest team.

This year, 7000 children entered, hoping to be a part of the series, with one other duo coming from New Zealand.

Kaha and Zion entered the competition late last year after watching the series for the first time.

Kaha said he was staying at Zion's home in the Christmas holidays when an advertisement came on the Nickelodeon channel asking people to apply for this season.

The two boys went camping the next weekend and started filming their audition tape.

"We called our team the 'Kiwi Cuzzies' so we put some Kiwi and New Zealand things in the audition, like the haka."

The duo were away filming the series at Sea World on the Gold Coast in Australia from March 16 to 22.

The 12-year-old, who had to keep the show a secret until now, said they were busy the whole time they were away.

"We had about five cameras in our faces the whole time."

Initially, Kaha said he was sceptical and surprised when they were selected for the show but his cousin was more confident.

"From the moment he (Zion) had the idea, that's just the kind of person he is."

Being part of the show was the best thing they had ever done.

"We got to meet Timomatic and other famous people. I can't really give away too much about our challenges but they were all exciting."

Kaha said he was unsure about his fame once the show aired.

When the two boys came home, their families had a welcome home party at the airport.

"It took a while to 'get back to reality' since we had been treated like stars over there," Kaha said.

"I don't think it's sunk in about being on TV yet and I am a bit nervous but I won't know until the first episode is on in a few weeks."

Camp Orange will be returning from June 10 and the winners will be voted for by New Zealand and Australian children watching from home.

"I'm so pumped to be here in Australia to host Camp Orange alongside my buddies Luke and Wyatt. I'm such a fan of the series and I can't wait to take campers through the biggest mess-fest of their lives. Bring on the Wrong Town Dinners!"

LUKE JACOBZ and TIMOMATIC are also amongst the string of celebs to tackle the most twisted, gut wrenching and gross challenges in the show's history – making surprise cameos to either help or hinder teams. Adding to the star power, this year's Wrong Town Dinner recipes (foul feasts that nominated teams must chow down each night) were concocted by U.S. stars from Nickelodeon's live-action series', The Haunted Hathaways and The Thundermans.

Keen to get messy, TIMOMATIC said: "I'm excited to be here at Camp Orange to celebrate the show's tenth birthday! Campers better watch out, I'm here to bring on the mess, slime and dish out the most disgusting of Wrong Town Dinners... I can't wait to have a spin on that Human Dinner Spinner!"

In the whirlwind, world premiere episode, we meet this year's five teams; MIGHTY MERMAIDS (NSW), M TASTICS (ACT), KIWI CUZZIES (NZ), TWISTED TWINS (NSW) and the JOCO LOCOS (NZ). After arriving at Sea World, hosts, Luke and Wyatt turn our campers into walking calamari in the very first challenge, SQUID MARKS. In a Camp Orange 10th birthday surprise, and the first of many twists, Matt Bennett surprises the campers as a guest host (and Luke and Wyatt!), before joining mega slime fight! At Wrong Town Dinner, the Human Dinner Spinner is unveiled and spun to select the team deemed to gorge on TASTEBUD TORMENT, a recipe made by celebrity guest chef, The Haunted Hathaways', AMBER MONTANA.

You can watch Nickelodeon via Foxtel on Channel 701 and Fetch TV on Channel 146.

Nickelodeon Australia And New Zealand Start Filming "Camp Orange: Force 10" At Sea World Gold Coast

The official website of B&T Magazine, Australia's leading authority for marketing, advertising, media and PR, is reporting the aweslime news in the following article that Australia's longest-running reality television series "Camp Orange" has started filming its tenth season at Sea World on the Gold Coast in Queensland!

Produced locally by Nickelodeon, "Camp Orange" is not only Australia's longest-running reality TV show, cutting its teeth when Survivor was the new kid on the block, but was also the first 'original' kids reality series in Australia.

According to Kristie Phelan, executive producer and network creative director at Nickelodeon, this year saw more than 7000 Australian and New Zealand kids audition to be a part of the series. Auditioning entailed kids uploading videos of themselves to Nickelodeon Australia's official "Camp Orange" website, camporange.com.au.

Phelan told B&T that this huge number is whittled down to a shortlist of 150 and then eventually to the final 10 kids. "We basically look for kids that can talk underwater and that are really outgoing," she said.

The contestants are aged between 10 and 14, which Phelan says is the "sweet spot" between being able to be away for a week and still having "not lost that innocence we are looking for".

The series, which describes itself as "the slimiest show on TV" is locally produced and its format has been adopted globally in the UK and Italy.

Phelan says the secret to its success is its underlying values of friendship and fair play. "It is all about teamwork and celebrating best friends and this is something that every kid can relate to," she said.

"Camp Orange" is hosted by the Logie-nominated pairing of Luke Ryan & Wyatt Nixon-Lloyd.

Each year, the show follows the same format, but Phelan and the team introduce new challenges and new teams.

Previously the show was filmed in a traditional camping ground, but this year, for the second year running, "Camp Orange" is being filmed at Sea World on the Gold Coast. This location gives the series added excitement and Phelan said they were able to experiment with different production techniques such as mounting cameras on roller coasters.

"Camp Orange" is a multiple ASTRA-Award-winning (2008, 2009, 2010) local production and is this year has been nominated for Most Outstanding Reality Program yet again.

"Camp Orange: Force 10" premieres on Tuesday 10th June 2014 at 5:00pm on Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand!
